Those two players and their contracts are not really very good examples. Everybody knows that both are greatly overpaid.
At 16 million per year, I just think Dotson becomes too cap unfriendly. In other words, I would rather take my chances with another free agent, trade, or in the draft. Especially considering how well Snead did last year and how well Wendell has developed his players.
Gotta draw a line in the sand somewhere, don’t you think?
