If that's what they're doing then why did they sign John Johnson, Royce Freeman, Ahkello Witherspoon, and Demarcus Robinson? And if you can justify those signings then why would signing a DT and/or Edge be any different?

Those guys are just JAG's. After all, you do need some talent to put out there.

If they do sign another DT or Edge, do you really think it will be a "difference maker" or just another JAG? We can't really afford anyone with a lot of talent, can we?

IMO, it's not a 100% trash the team and rebuild from scratch but it is a rebuild and it will have an effect on the seasons outcome and of course they are fully aware of that and accept it too.

Tanking, Rebuilding, Retooling. It's all just semantics for the same thing...an eye looking more towards the future than it is today.

Not saying I have an issue with it...if it works, but that is definitely the plan.
