I think this is the quickest way to address the problem.
But I agree, no matter what you call it. A retool. A rebuild. It is just another way of saying we aren't expecting to "win" anything this year and we are partly tearing it down and will try yo restock the talent again.
All this is being done on purpose. As a plan.
If they can pull it off, they will look really smart for doing it. If it doesn't, they will take some heat for it.
IMO, next year we are right back trading for players and signing FA's to mix with our draft picks just like before.
