Part of how I see management of Boom's situation is his outlook on how he's being handled.
I believe they want him motivated, and based on a history of playing in active games gives him an edge.
Coaches probably keeping him competitive mentally, even if there appears a drift to make him a swing player.
Not even dressed suggests he's being saved.
As we approach cut downs, I suspect the PUP is going to be part of how they retain a couple of guys they would normally part with.
