Rams offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom has some good game tape as professional NFL player even though he's had some what of an injury prone career.
OG/RT Logan Bruss was drafted in the 3rd round 104th overall. The Rams college scout that pounded the drum for him jumped in the pool after the selection was made. (the pool scene has been mocked by many fans on this board and he was considered a big reach on draft day) by many on this board and several draft pundits.
The Rams invested a $40 million contract extension with Noteboom. He was placed on injured reserve on October 18, 2022 after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in Week 6.
The Rams invested their first pick in the NFL draft 2022 on Logan Bruss. He looked more like a 7th rounder prior to injuring his ACL and MCL in the Rams' second preseason game against the Houston Texans. In tragic fashion, Bruss lost his entire rookie season before it even began.
A big money risk investment in Noteboom along with selecting (reaching for) Logan Bruss (their first pick the 2022 NFL draft) has many fans like myself wondering what did the Rams see with these two offensive lineman?
Do the Rams bite the bullet and cut bait with these 2 offensive lineman? I would hope they do with at least one of them. I prefer they cut them both and take their losses on bad investments. It happens in sports and stocks. You cash in on some and take the losses when you get it wrong.
The Rams brass are pretty good at admitting when they get it wrong.
