As you know I am aligned closely with you here. My gut tells me they will struggle this year
Reading through this thread I do think Youngblood and Albany make extremely articulate arguments that support the idea that this indeed this will be a reset year (Youngblood) and that’s ok given their SB win) and Albany stating that the Rams have not been passive at all and have indeed been active in making positive changes to the roster and coaching staff.
I can appreciate those takes.
I think the oline will be one of the biggest positive developments this year. I know not sexy but it will set the stage for 2024 which Youngblood has pointed out is really the target.
I will say …. McVay is supposed to be an elite coach. I hope to see that return in 23…. last year was a really tough year for him. An elite coach can really carry a team a good distance. I’d really like to see a bounce back from him.

I get they were decimated last year, But Noteboom is nothing special and Bruss hopefully is good but he looked bad early on....not a fan of our tiny center
I think the O line is improved but average
Akers is just OK, not Todd Gurley or ED, but an average 600-800 back
I hope Stafford cuts down the pic sixes....
I love Kupp (my favorite player of all time with Bruce), but we need a legit #2 WR
bottom line nothing is exceptional on the offense except for Kupp and Stafford when clicking but I think teams can contain Kupp
and the Rams will need a very good offense as the defense will be very bad and they will be playing from behind a lot
also...te schedule is killer
