that is how I see it right now
Don't forget about Larrell Miurchison too, he showed something after the Rams claimed him. I still believe the Rams might pick or claim someone to backup Brown at NT, keep an eye on Broncos Elijah Garcia, if he gets released as he was poached off the Rams practice squad last year, but there is a new regime in Denver and I know the Rams liked him.
that kind of player, the rush tackle, call it that...so Rams will probably keep 6 on active, maybe 1 or perhaps 2 on the 8-man PS.
So he has a shot, but I just, off top of head, guessing that with Rams drafting the Dlmen, he's kind of the guy who needs to explode
to get roster spot.
Getting a backup NT would be excellent. Copeland can do it...but there could be better options---like you mention picking one up.
My stacking as of now would be
Brown III will be 0/1 - NT-----Copeland the backup (Brown III roster spot)
Donald the 4i/3 tech - DT------Turner the backup---Murchison third string (Donald and Turner roster spots)
Copeland the 5t/4i - DE-----Brown IV and Johnson and Williams the backups (Copeland, Brown IV, Johnson roster spot)
Brown showed a little something...Johnson is an unknown...Williams has never shown a lot but still, no idea how that will
shake out...and maybe they keep 7 on active...
It's just my guess that right now Williams and Murchison would be bubble guys---but things can change---Brown IV
could regress and Williams looks good. Maybe Turner does not impress and Murch tears it up...
GOing to be fun.
