He seems a bit undersized (290 lbs) to me and in MY opinion, a bigger DL would benefit AD much more.
I am not a fan of these smaller guys on the OL and DL. They can get pushed around too easily.
So you are saying you would not have drafted Aaron Donald.
Just playing with you.
This pic is a very interesting player is interesting to me. I didn't know anything about him, but the team seems incredibly high on him, which is a little unusual in terms of defensive lineman.
Curious to see how it pans out.
No problem brother! I actually might not have drafted AD. Thank goodness we had that Genius Jeff Fisher here to see AD's greatness! lol
Looking back, AD should have been the #1 pick in his draft!!!
I am also curious to see how this kid does! If he can be "3/4" of the player AD is, we just might have something!
I think a lot of teams have been looking for that "next" AD. The smaller, quicker DT's that are also very strong just like AD is. But there is a reason nobody has found the next AD. I'm not sure there is one! AD is one of a kind, generational talent!
As glad as I am to have AD on the team, I still think you need a few of those big old nasty, snot bubbling DT's that can hold their own in the run game and also disrupt the passing game now and then too.
In know there are exceptions but as the old saying by Jack Dempsey goes, "A good big man will always beat a good little man".
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
