If it is, Ramsdude, I'll do my ten pushups. I'll let you know when I'm finished, probably by the end of the month.
One on the first day, next day off to recuperate, and so on.
Seriously, I've posted a lot of the snark and dissatisfaction with what a few football "writers" have written, and may have tainted other's perceptions of all of them. Too shallow, based on nothing, injected with the writer's unsubstantiated prejudices - you know my list of complaints. As a writer I have sensitive antennae when it comes to writing - poor journalism, slipshod reporting, vacuous opinion pieces meant to sway those who know scarcely less than the author who pretends to know much more, it all offend me. At the same time I have a real appreciation for good writing. I know what goes into it.
When I see something of Jourdan's posted on the board, I perk up. "Hey - I wonder what she has to say?" I find myself thinking.
When I click on a repost of somebody else's work I look first for who wrote it. Some I'll give an open-minded pass - a f couple of others leave me thinking "Aww, crap - him again?" I might read the piece itself or I might not if I feel that I already know what the guy is going to say. I'll skip right to the commentary and see what you guys have to say about what he said. It's generally better stuff,
So please don't generalize based on my rants about a few of the other writers. They don't apply to all, and certainly not Jourdan.
Not sure what you mean mt. My posts aren't about anything but "my" opinion and mine only. lol
I am just "ranting" over another nothing burger during this off season. lol
There is sooo many articles, tweets and podcasts this time of year that actually tell us sooo little!
Jourdan has posted some things I enjoyed reading but here lately, not so much. But hey, that's just me!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
