McVay failed to anticipate how teams would adjust to the Rams...needed to do a better job of establishing an effective run game since so many teams started playing the Fangio D.It will be interesting to see how long Goff continues to be effective in Detroit, since their success means that teams will start to adjust to them as well.
There was a peak after the KC game, then things leveled off. Teams caught up and to go to next level the QB has to step up and McVay needs a partner on the field . . . Goff wasn't that guy.Stafford is. Stafford has his flaws, but the mental aspect to the game is not one of them...it's one of his strengths. For Goff, it was not one of his strengths.
