Man! Seems like yesterday! I remember that season well. Started off great at the Giants...went 2 and 0 and then lost 2 in a row, including that Jets game were Slater went off of Gastineau.
could have also won 3 that we lost---maybe was better than a 9-7 team, maybe 10-6/11-5
That was a good year because expectations were that Rams would not be good. They were bad in 1982
so they would maybe be better in 83 with Dickerson but no one predicted playoffs.
But, you never know, they beat a 12-4 team at home in POs... not bad.
