I don't think it's narrow minded at all because it's a serious need. It just isn't a strength in the draft.
Rams have needs where the top players are deep in a year we lack a top pick.
So, trading down, getting a 3rd round value in the 4th and
getting 2nd round value in our 2 secons
and maybe a high second-round value in at around 45.
And the needs are edge, oline, CB
and this is a draft deep in those three . . .
that's some good luck.
Hope Rams use the top picks on those kind of picks
rather than a toy of a WR or RB
