I could go on for a while about this but instead I'll be brief. The "Olympics" are not the media, or the host city, or Bob Costas... The Olympics are the athletes. If you look beyond the 'dream' teams and the glory sports in which red carpets are laid out in front of the stars there are hundreds, thousands, of young men and women who worked their butts off, much harder than you or I,by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Because that's the total QB starts for the Rams from all three of our current QB's. Kinda scary, no?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I like happy endings. A long time ago one of the Herd Members, Old Hacker, sent me a package. I didn't get it. About a year later I went to St Louis for a game and Old Hacker asked me if I'd received his package... I had not. I think it was a year and a half after that, or 2 and a half years after he sent it, I got a package in the mail... from Old Hacker. Seems my package was sortedby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Boy did I hang myself out to dry with that opening line, huh? :flush But dang it, it's true. Every man in my immediate family, no exceptions, wants SOUND... can't have enough speakers, volume CAN be too loud but rattling the windows certainly isn't the max. Every woman in my family, no exceptions, HATES surround sound or volume or extra speakers... and a ΒΌ inch speaker from radio shackby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
My concerns regarding Fisher have to do with competency. I don't see anything like a determined effort at mediocrity, the fact they play that way at times explained by competency, IMHO.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
It's not 'signed'. How about I save it until you and Rambeau visit So. Cal. for a Ram's game? :beer2by JamesJM - The RamsFootballFans.com Tailgate Party
the Flag, in your photo, I have had all these years... although it's visited many Ram fans over in that time. The Banner was made up for HerdFest 1... it's huge, much bigger than the flag. I now have that as well. I'll be taking the Flag to the Rams vs Seahawks game... the banner depends... if enough of us decide to meet before the game I'll take it, if not I'll wait until a large groupby JamesJM - The RamsFootballFans.com Tailgate Party
How much of this, if any, is media driven? I wonder if Rio is truly experiencing profoundly more problems than any other host city in the past or is it that the media has discovered that we want to hear about every plugged toilet? I'm not trying to say it is media driven, nor am I trying to lessen the problems... which I'm sure have a basis in fact. But the 'negative' stories regarding the uby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
or perhaps iTunes on AppleTV.... but my grandkids have seen it and I can't them ALL to agree to watch it again with me; I have NOT seen it. Did you see Jungle Book, the new one? I can't recall the last horror movie I saw in a movie theater... I guess maybe, "The Exorcist"? Nah, must have seen another since then.. but I can't think of one. I saw Jaws, the first time, at a Drive-In. But that's besides your point. Farmers don't have normal hours. Sometimes we go to work at night, sometimes the afternoon. If Goff, or even Keenum, can somehow earn the trust of Fisher foremost, and Boras not far behind than I think you see a whole new ball game. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

because it's been determined that's all he can do. I don't know about that.. I DO know I'd at least make the attempt to expand his role(s). I don't disagree with anything you said... as you know where you and I disagree in that you accept Fisher's determination and use of him without question, I do not. It's going to be tough for me. On Saturday my current plan is to take my grandson's to Knott's Berry Farm... that will take all day. Ramsrule is going to the Angel's game on Saturday night. Game starts at 6pm. Maybe a late dinner somewhere? Around 9 or so? BUT... I doubt you'll be anywhere near Anaheim, right? On Sunday I'm up in the air... my oldest daughter, all her kids, and one guest told me that "The Secret Life Of Pets" was outstanding. I'll be seeing it for sure. This is the type of review I really do not like doing. This movie is well made, voice acting (as usual) excellent. I was bored to death. Who knows? Maybe I was just tired, grumpy, and I wouldn't have liked any movie. Could be. First let me say: I really liked "Finding Nemo" a lot... and I thought Ellen was absolutely brilliant. And may do just that... but Troy and I are thinking... I'm not in the Fisher 'can't camp... I'm in the Fisher 'won't' camp. Lot of reasons for my opinion but not for this reply, most I've mentioned previously, maybe all. When Fisher is confident, has his Linus blanket snuggly wrapped around him, he can, and will, win big games. And while I do not think he's much helping his players in preparation to reach that level when Fisher's has his blanketby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
So then calling out the play at the LOS so both O and D can hear it is just a 'preference'? And as such equates to any other 'preference'? Ramsrule and I will both be in Anaheim the night before, staying there. We're thinking about hiring transportation to the game, and then back again. but first, funny stuff. being 'afraid of the dark'. I think that applies to everyone, does it not? But where, when, and to what degree varies a great deal. A dark alley in a city would scare me. Being alone in the wilderness at night is less scary to me than being in my living room at night. It's not the 'dark' to me but where and how I perceive 'threats'. Flinging the ball around EVERY game is no more 'surprising' than ground Chucking it. An 'unknown' however can give you an added weapon, for a time. For me, and skipping past the unanswerable "what makes a game boring" thing... if you're bored, you're bored. As for Goff. Ok, you're the HC for the "Portobellos" and starting the practice week for next weekend's game with the Rams. Goff is a rook. Fisher is the coach. So you put in your game D game plan, defensively. You practice it all week. Now it's game day:by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
