It's getting harder. Recently I told Elijah I might miss his birthday this year because I may be in England. I told him not to worry, he could have two birthday parties and I'd be at the one not on his real birthday.
Got a call from him that night... he sent me a "Lego" kit photo and told me that was what he wanted for his birthday, but not for his real birthday, for the 2nd birthday.... he had not decided what he wanted for his real birthday but he'd let me know.
