Commissioner Kraft when interviewed about it only said, "no comment at this time". - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
as I mentioned, I know nothing about him so reading your assessments fires me up. :thumbsup I'm not as worried about 'Tree' at MLB as most, not even really close to as worried. Sure, I recognize that it's a significant change for him but from what I've seen he has plenty of physical talent to pull it off. His health worries me considerably more than his physical ability to play the positionby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
In the interest of parity the Ram's have petitioned the league to be allowed one extra player on the field... to give them a chance. Well, actually they petitioned for two extra players but as I heard it that was simply because after arbitration they would at least be allowed one extra. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
drove the Blue Ridge and hiked a few trails but not on the Appalachian. Unfortunately, well not really, it was winter time. Late winter. It was still beautiful, but I would have preferred the lush green season. I was also there in 1969, during the green season, and remember it well, but did no hiking at that time. The trail itself I have crossed many times... motorcycles trips twice and inby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and I've thought long and hard about it. I have my boat in a slip at Millerton lake so I don't really need to tow it all that often... and probably couldn't anyway... it's long. Behind an RV I'd be a two trailer semi. :) I also have a large ATV, however, and it would be nice to bring that along.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
:imsorry Mannion intrigues me as much as any other Ram, in wondering what his potential is. I have no firm belief in Mannion making it, haven't seen him enough, but occasionally a player will stand out to me, even when very raw, and more times than not I'm right about seeing something special... and I think I saw a bit of that in Mannion. My guess is Goff becomes the starter, somewhat soby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Caribou Mountain, is that on the Appalachian Trail? I have hiked... ummmmm, 3 hikes on sections of the Appalachian trail... very SHORT sections. Maybe 20-25 miles all three hikes combined and only one an 'over-nighter'. None of them I would consider in the true 'wilderness' areas of the trail. So I know very little about the trail except what I've read... but the photos, if you google it,by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

some I buy, some I'm dubious about, some I don't buy. But however you look at it we're 5 years in and it's time to tell Mr. Bereasonable to take a hike. :bangheadby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I will begin by saying - if you saw this movie and liked it stop reading RIGHT NOW. You won't like this. This movie is BAD... horrible, pitiful, it's not even a movie... the money spent making this movie could have gone to something worth something... like drugs, or alcohol, but instead it was used to make this movie which will make you physically ill. Do you think they're going to have parking places with shuttles to and from the Coliseum? Mostly likely I'll be spending the night in Anaheim on Sept. 17th... I doubt there are any shuttles THAT far, but it would be nice if there were places somewhat close with shuttle service... the traffic around the Coliseum will be horrible. - JamesJMby JamesJM - The RamsFootballFans.com Tailgate Party
I had an RV once. Today I'm thinking 'travel trailer'... basically the same thing. But my use is more in line with your intention to take it to a Ram's game. In my case baseball tournaments, cheerleader tournaments, etc. Not 'camping', per se... ALTHOUGH, yes, I would take it camping because my family would insist on it... I will sleep outside. :spintounge "Fully Stocked", to me,by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I DETEST thinking anything less than the playoffs no matter what state the team is in... rebuilding or not. The playoffs are the goal, EVERY YEAR.... and for over a decade it's a constant barrage of "be patient, it's coming"... because 'it takes time'. The admonition because 'that's reality'... but 'reality' is several teams overhaul overnight and make the big show. Much less takingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
but it worries me. I don't think the evidence is there to jump to the conclusion that 'world marketing' is his primary goal and NOT providing a quality product... mainly because they are one and the same. Steelers, Cowboys, Niners, Patriots.. are NOT where they are in popularity by losing consistently since their franchises began. They all have winning histories. There is no chance thaby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I wish to hell the officials would vehemently enforce the 'leading with the helmet rule', (they do not), and coaches caught coaching it suspended. I posted not long ago that in High School, (not related to your article but none the less), it's illegal to lead with your helmet and yet I see it every game, several times, and NO exceptions. And flags thrown when it happens are excruciatingly rby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not only a great write but the man could act as well. Small roles, but he made the most of them. I loved his scene as the casino manager in Lost In America.... he stole the scene. Darn good job in "A League Of Their Own" as well, as Walter Harvey. Personally I think his writing, though great in every production he wrote, was most notable in "The Dick Van Dyke" show.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
We're a week away? Can we expect any camp reports this year? Camp reports are one of my favorites reads on this board. I've always been impressed by those who report and the depth they go into.. VERY impressed. Vets, Rook's, 3rd stringers... all get noticed and reported on. I find them to be very accurate, as well. New days in LA so I'm VERY much hoping this tradition continues... But for Fisher and Co. to fully open up the passing game they're going to have see tangible results on the field... it all revolves around Keenum/Goff. Lot of people do not agree with me here but I don't think Fisher puts in anything until he feels they have it down pat and then waits a half season or so just to make sure. Not on a regular basis anyway.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
But airplanes are enormously expensive to own and operate... even a small plane will cost you a fortune to maintain. The expense is so outrageous that "flying clubs" came into existence. A group of people share ownership and nearly all the 'clubs' here locally will rent to you. Yes, they only exist at the airports, or nearly so. It's the only way the 'average' guy can own and fly.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Class A and B airspace is a pain. Skirting TCA's or flying a TCA corridor is one of the most stressful things you'll ever do. When I got my license in the 60's this was not the case. It was quite easy to fly out of or into even the most busy airports, like SFO, but that long ago ended. Not sure it still exists, although I'm sure it must, but I flew the VFR corridor over LAX a couple of tiby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
One thing that perplexes me to no end are the admonitions on discussion boards about doing this... hell, I thought speculating was one of the top three reasons to have a discussion board in the first place. :spintoungeby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Ram's were somewhere very near the middle of the NFL pack, if memory serves... low % of dropped passes, comparatively, considering all the other stats in which they were bottom third. So the Ram's aren't dropping a lot of passes and yet... those third down situations. YIKES!by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
but on this board he seems to get rave reviews. I hope the board is right. But if 'blocking' is his weakness then I see some extended bench time until it comes around. Kendrick's I liked a LOT... to me he has that something 'extra' like Austin, or Gurley, or Donald, if not the actual physical talent. Thinking about the Sierra Nevada's as I have the last few days... I recalled the "Firefall" in Yosemite. For those who have not heard of it... It was tradition in Yosemite Valley for a nighty "firefall"... a large fire was built on the summit of Glacier Point and at 9pm they would start pushing it over the edge... falling, oh, perhaps 1,500' or so. there are very few trails left in the High Sierra's that I have not hiked. My longest journey was back in 1994 when I hiked the John Muir Trail from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney.... 220 miles, plus I took a few side trips, another 9 miles to the road, for a total of near 300. 'Elite' coaches pretty much equates to coaches currently 'winning'... I'm not all that sure that the HC is deserving of all the accolades in every case - it could be, and is often, I think, due to 'Asst. Coaches'. I'm also not that comfortable with 'hand-me-downs'... yeah, no doubt some are worth it, not sure Carroll is, however... maybe. I'd bet good money that several Asst. I don't know... I'll put that out there right off the bat... I don't even know if it 'is' changing. I suspect, however, that it is. With so much invested in Goff my guess is Keenum is learning some new things. Things they expect Keenum to perform but geared toward the O system they envision Goff running down the road, whenever that might be.
