that's Dell and my grandson Elijah. Dell is a year older than Elijah but they are inseparable... sports, video games, sharing pizza, driving their parents insane. The setup to this video.... Dell's parents got tickets to a Warriors game... tonight! Dell didn't know but they asked Elijah if he could go with them. Elijah had an important math test today so my daughter talked to his teacherby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
that looks great, Mama. Thanks. No doubt I'll be breaking it in tonight.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and I don't mean the way Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc define "Classics" meaning anything that came out last year. Anyone know of a movie streaming service that shows the bulk of all the old Black & White movies? I don't mind color... that's fine... but I would like their library of movies to include all the old Black & White films as well. Posted before that it's possible I'by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
One of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Very medieval. Canal streets. Unfortunately they couldn't visit for long... the drive there was delayed many hours due to traffic and weather. They have to be back in England by tomorrow night because my grandson has practice for his National Cup Rugby match on Sunday... speaking of which: This is the furthest the Bury St Edmunds Under 18's hby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I can say that yes, there ARE some cheesy movies that I like a lot. So until I can think a few at the top of my 'cheesy' list I can say that I'm very fond of the old "B" Sci Fi movies. You know, the ones with a budget of $9.99? :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Trying to experience everything you can to create memories that will last a lifetime you do this: You take the cable car to the top of the Zugspitze (highest mountain in German).... no matter what the weather is like... in this case below zero with 80mph winds. AND... you love every second of it.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
The stupidity of some people. That made me cringe.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
back in the day, not that long ago actually... pre-VHS.... "The Wizard of Oz" was a yearly network TV event... and it was BIG. We looked forward to it like people today look forward to Christmas, or the 4th of July, or Easter. As a kid I watched it from 3' in front of the TV while my Mom screamed at me that I would go blind and spend my life walking with a cane to find my way arouby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I don't give a darn about the 'number'... by that I mean what the scale says. There is a range of weight in which I feel 'good'... that is my goal. I can 'guess' where that feel good weight is but it's just a guess and it varies. When I worked out fanatically my best weight, (where I felt my best), was actually rather high... VERY high compared to where the 'charts' said my weight should bby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
you'll get that in "The Right Stuff".by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Thanks for mentioning it.... putting that on my list of movies to watch very soon.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
you won't like it. Love it the way I do? Probably not... but you might.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
And very much doubt if it's the best way.... but it is working. My daughter and granddaughter had me download an app called "Loseit". It's nothing more than a calorie counter. I log everything I eat... I can eat ANYthing, it's the total calories that matter. If I want to have ice cream I can... just smaller portions and cut back somewhere else. Now understand... the internetby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
How many times have we discussed this? :laughing But this topic occurred to me because there is a movie that I often fail to mention when I list my fav's. I HAVE mentioned it... but not as often as: "It's A wonderful Life"; "Casablanca", "Citizen Kane", "Tombstone", "To Kill A Mockingbird" - several others. And that movie is: "Theby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I didn't know how active Henry has been in acting over the years until I Iooked him up on IMDB. He's been in LOTS of movies most of which I've never heard of. I remember seeing him in Waterboy and thinking "Wow, Henry finally got a role"... but the truth is he's had roles all along!by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm doing well. Loss is slow, very slow... AND, I have plateaued. That means I'm still staying on my diet but I've pretty much stopped losing weight, (last two weeks). That not uncommon. I was expecting it so I'm not overly concerned. I am feeling better... less lethargic. I haven't purchased any new clothing for 2 reasons: 1: I'm still hoping to lose more weight... My family is HOME - - - ITALIA!!!! They just crossed the border. It's me who is out of place. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Put aside the 'genre' of music in this post. That's not the point... as you will see. There was a ranch near Fresno Ca. called "Coombs Ranch". It was on the banks of the San Joaquin River. Acres of carefully manicured grass... towering oak trees... as well as many other types of trees. For a decade or so back in the 90's a local radio station hosted a Smooth Jazz Concert at Coombby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Between our bass player, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, our supply of batteries is much like the battery display in Home Depot. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I can't own enough nor stash them in enough places to locate them during setup. Drum keys are much like 9/16 inch end wrenches, or ½ inch wrenches, they exist in another dimension and can pop in and out of our universe at will... usually at the worst possible time I try to have a drum key, 3 of them actually, in my pockets. Every pouch in my drum stick back has a minimum of 2 drum keys iby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
the others? Not unless you want to pull out a lug wrench whenever you need a shot. :laughing A couple years ago we went thru our band equipment which included a lot of amps, guitars, bags, cases, and other stuff that we no longer use today. While going thru them we found... I forget for sure but I think 4 bottles of whiskey stashed away? :laughing Funny story.... our lead singer never uby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

But all the places she's visiting are a 'surprise'. She was told nothing about destinations or specific attractions. So she was in shock when she looked up to see "Entering France", and "Entering Austria",, and "Entering German". :laughing At that castle in the photo we got a video of her seeing it as they approached it... she didn't know she was going there...by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
It's been amazing getting her photos which have brought back many memories - some of them from back in 1969. In 1969 I toured Europe for the first time. Me and two cousins. My granddaughter is visiting some of the same places we visited back then and I'm being flooded with old memories... people I met there, meals I had, dumb things we did :laughing . Where she is now... Garmisch, andby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
thanks. No, I've never tried it myself. My son makes them all the time, in England so inaccessible for me. :laughing They were a perfect food with German Lager..... well, what food isn't? :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm sure most of you know this castle but for those of you who don't it's Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany. It was the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland. I have been to this castle a few times and my granddaughter has been looking at my photos of it for years.... and yearning. :laughing This is a dream come true for her. She finally made it. According to the youtubeTV website, (I have YouTubeTV), you will NOT need to get YouTubeTV to get Sunday Ticket. Prices are unavailable at this time...
