Memories....

It's been amazing getting her photos which have brought back many memories - some of them from back in 1969.

In 1969 I toured Europe for the first time. Me and two cousins. My granddaughter is visiting some of the same places we visited back then and I'm being flooded with old memories... people I met there, meals I had, dumb things we did .

Where she is now... Garmisch, and site of this photo, I visited not long ago... 2018. I also stood on the bridge in this photo of my granddaughter. But most of the places she has been I haven't been too since that first trip in 1969... and yet my memories are so vivid it's like it was yesterday... even though I had not remembered those places in many years.



I won't post it but I got a hilarious video from my daughter-in-law, (who is with my granddaughter on this trip). Back in 2018 I was taking a video of a restaurant we ate at with the beautiful Alps in the background. As I was taking the video she jumped across my camera making a funny face. Welllll... yesterday she sent me a video of her re-enacting that scene doing exactly the same thing. in exactly the same place
