And very much doubt if it's the best way.... but it is working.
My daughter and granddaughter had me download an app called "Loseit". It's nothing more than a calorie counter. I log everything I eat... I can eat ANYthing, it's the total calories that matter. If I want to have ice cream I can... just smaller portions and cut back somewhere else.
Now understand... the internet is REPLETE with criticisms of the way I'm dieting.... but like I said, it's working for me.
Exercising... THAT is something I'm struggling with but kind of not my fault. I'd be MORE than happy to be out walking/running except... the weather we're having. It is nothing but a mud bog outside... I'd sink to my waist if I tried walking/running my normal route right now. Sure, I could exercise indoors BUT... I DESPISE indoor workouts. - JamesJM
