Maybe the state of Florida made the football gods angry this year somehow.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm guessing it's because of the way Kyren runs. Bless his heart, I love how aggressive he is. Would love to see him have a long NFL career.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams rushed 4-5 guys in the last drive. Didn't get home. At least they dialed up pressure callsby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Unless you are playing in the AFC North, holding teams under 20 pts in the NFL is good. Rams D did their job. Offense continues to be a different story. McVay has to realize that he needs to take the points with this offense. When he is behind 0-7, for some reason, he thinks he needs to quickly even the score. When taking the points and being behind 3-7 is still okay, especially in thby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
I like Fuaga. Toss up between Alt and Fuaga. Fuaga is a better run blocker. Alt is a better pass blocker. Fuaga is nasty. Have a bunch of "nasty minded" folks up front and that would give a new identity to the offensive line.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Tutu is actually open on some of the deeper routes. On one play, Stafford was sliding left, away from Tutu's route, so he wouldn't have enough leverage to get the ball out there. Blame that on the OL for creating a thin pocket. Other plays, Stafford doesn't see him. Rather have that deep threat than Jefferson. Just need some deeper balls thrown to keep the defense honest.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
The offense had trouble staying on the Field. Drive 1: 5 plays 25 yards Drive 2: 6 plays 42 yards Drive 3: 3 plays -2 yards Drive 4: 3 plays -10 yards Drive 5: 5 plays 58 yards Defense needs help from the offense as well. It's an offense friendly league, offense needs to score and extend drives as well. Neither of Rams' Offense nor Defense are good, but given how things played out,by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, it's low value now... but his value was higher before. Question is.. why couldn't the front office see a tanking stock before hand and sold for higher? Vs waiting for like public financials to come out where now everyone can see it's a bad stock.. so he sells for low? I don't mind getting rid of low performing talent for a low price. Just don't understand our evaluation system. It's lby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess everyone whiffed on Ivan Pace Jr. Can make an argument for alot of players. There's more than just the combine though. It just happens to be the most publicly available scouting venue. Teams have invites, pro days etc.... so if a team is lazy enough to just focus on combine, then that's on them. But most teams don't. They have enough resources to check players out without needby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
If anyone said that Rams were going to: Have 28 First Downs vs 21 for the Niners Run 78 plays vs 54 for the Niners Own TOP with 33 Minutes Go 7-14 on 3rd downs vs 2-9 for the Niners I'd be: sweet, I'll take that. TOs and big plays will throw those stats away. If the game mirrored games in the past where Rams D could not get off the Field and Rams O go 3 and out... then I'd be saby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
With a fan board, opinions might change not after the season but after each game. Fan boards = rollercoaster of emotions and opinions. More about what have you done for me lately.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Would be interesting to see how he would describe the Seahawk's offensive tactics. To me, it was like they had 2 offensive coordinators. 1 who called the first quarter and another that called the rest of the game. 1st quarter was more like McVay style offense. Creating mismatches and playing with the LBs eyes with all the motion and formation changes at snap. After that though, it was justby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
He ran the routes "correctly". It's just rookie recognition as my guess is that most of these routes are option routes depending on the defense they are going up against. Why this works against Seattle is that they really run like 3 coverages and they didn't disguise well. So the QB and WRs should already be on the same wavelength on the option routes. I do remember that playby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess there are trust levels. Mahomes has full trust. 4th and 25.. get it done. Remember they had a few 4th and 2 around midfield and they punted. Your one instance vs multiple instances... No way can you say they are letting Goff loose. You trust a QB, you let em loose. It's still a conservative offense, which works fine for the Lions. Here's an easier way to think about thby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
And anyone who think Holmes has unlocked Goff.. that's a big stretch right now. They are still conservative with Goff. Andy Reid to Mahomes... it's 4th and 25.. ball is in your hands. Dan Campbell to Goff... it's 3rd and 2, critical juncture... hand the ball off. They aren't letting Goff loose at all... no trust that he can make the play. 3rd and 6 on a critical down... let's do aby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Good production in the first game for the Detroit Rookies. Gibbs and LaPorta played well Branch with a Pick 6 Campbell decent All 1st and 2nd round picks...can miss big time with these picks, but so far, they seem to be good pickups for Detroit.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Should be easier since Utah's QB: Cam Rising is not scheduled to play due to recovery from an ACL injury. And even if he does play... 1st game after an ACL injury isn't a walk in the park. Will take a few games for the speed of everything to return. 1st games of the year though are still more unpredictable unless you are like Georgia last year that returned lots of major key players. Maybe their Offensive Line talent evaluation isn't that good. Which then causes them to not draft more O-Linemen thinking that what they have will develop. 2022 Round 3: Bruss 2022 Round 7: Arcuri 2021 zero 2020 Round 7: Anchrum 2019 Round 3: Evans 2019 Round 5: Edwards 2018 Round 3: Noteboom 2018 Round 4: Allen 2018 Round 6: Demby 2017 zero 2016 zero 2015 Roundby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, you can tell by his first step what his role was. What could look frustrating when they see Miller play straight up is also compounded when the LBs weren't filling when it was a run play and Miller was setting the edge. I think it would have looked better and people may understand what the defense was trying to accomplish if Wagner was on that team.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
I meant his first day... using your subject line that his first day must be tough. I'm just saying that what you project as a fan vs how an athlete projects is different. There are folks that will charge in the front lines against 100 machine gun turrets thinking they can make it. And then there are most fans that will look at that and say.. yeah, not me. Or maybe a simpler analogy is aby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Practice probably was tough.. but a successful athlete will always remain and project optimistic and confidence. That's the difference between an athlete and a fan. A fan will pick apart the optimism/confidence. People can believe him or be skeptical, but it is way much better for an athlete to project confidence.by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll take his comments over something like this: " This 1st day was tough. I have no idea what I'm doing. NFL is hard. Not sure I can hang."by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, well that's what the tape and personal interaction is for. PFF in college is less important in my opinion because the talent/schools are wide ranging. So who you play against is much more impactful to the numbers. Could be worse.. get a small school player that has miserable PFF scores. Then you'll really be looking at tape going.. what do our scouts see?by h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Seattle's looking good in the UDFA too. Schneider is a good GMby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I can't argue that this is a good value pick... but yeah, I'm into bigger corners too. I've watched alot of Clark Phillips and I love the guy as a college player.... but I do see him get pushed off in the route. It's interesting, because at the line, he's actually okay at holding his press, but in the route, he gets shoved off more easily. Against Addison, Clark was holding his oby h2omelonhead - RamsFootballFans.com
