He ran the routes "correctly". It's just rookie recognition as my guess is that most of these routes are option routes depending on the defense they are going up against. Why this works against Seattle is that they really run like 3 coverages and they didn't disguise well. So the QB and WRs should already be on the same wavelength on the option routes.
I do remember that play in the 1st half where Nacua should have sat and Stafford even motioned him to do that after the play. If there is any adjustment, it's just getting on the same page as Option A vs Option B now that the rookie has seen the defense live. To be fair, if I was Nacua and this is the first NFL regular season defense I'm going up against, I'm thinking it has to be much more complex in reads than college... so I'm running Option A route because that's the safest thing to do if I'm fooled on coverage. The coaching staff probably said, nah.. trust your eyes against this defense.
