I meant his first day... using your subject line that his first day must be tough.
I'm just saying that what you project as a fan vs how an athlete projects is different.
There are folks that will charge in the front lines against 100 machine gun turrets thinking they can make it.
And then there are most fans that will look at that and say.. yeah, not me.
Or maybe a simpler analogy is a baseball player. An elite baseball player will go to bat and think they will a hit at every bat.
A fan would be.... you are going up against Kershaw in his prime, you are 0-100 against Kershaw, you aren't going to get a hit.
Athletes are more half full.. fans are more half empty.
Athletes that think half empty are probably not successful.
