No I don't agree that we should forget about Evans. Kyren was a late round nobody and suddenly emerged. I also don't think we need a speed WR at all. We have one. Tutu. Puka is also fast enough. So is Kupp. DR is quick. If we want to add an offensive player I think we could like Bowers. We could also nab a LOT. Otherwise, I see us going D early and often. We need a DE, edge, ILB. We cby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I expect we see the old triple crown CK. Puka is now going to draw major attention away and Kupp will take advantage. We have 2 #1 1500 yard WRs.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess anything is possible, but I don't see a WR in the first round.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm really excited about our OL. AJ did a decent job as a full time LT and has the size and dedication to improve. Our guards could both be All Pro, Avila is a total stud and Havs is way under respected. I like having Noteboom to back up 4 positions and hope he is used in goal line sitz as the extra tackle. Some of the other guys are young with upside. I still think we will draft a couple of guyby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Here's the thing. There are 22 different positions. Not including special teamers and we pick 19. We have a very good shot at the best player at some position. Better yet, there is a high probability that several QBs (maybe 6)will come off the board and I don't see us taking one since we have Stafford. That forces other positions down to us. Also, there are a few (3) elite WRs who should geby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
The interesting thing to me is how the Rams evaluate Evans. Remember, KW was drafted as a depth piece behind Akers and Hendu. He was barely used at first. Suddenly he's a true #1 and a top RB. Rivers came from nowhere and played well in his second year for us. Evans has the talent especially as a pure runner and has speed. Not so sure we need to take a RB in the first 4 rounds top 100. 5th, 6th?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's discuss the RBs. KW just emerged so we are great at #1. I thought DR played really well when he got the chance. Not sure why Gore would take his spot. And we traded up last year to take Evans who really didn't see the field. Of course we need a 4th and maybe a fifth RB , so we sure might draft one. But, I don't see a pressing need.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally agree. That article kind of pizzed me off. Also, he doesn't need to be a triple crown guy because Puka emerged. With a healthy Kupp good luck trying to stop them.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Never heard of this guy. Had no idea that he was a safety. Not sure we need a safety. Weird little "article."by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Yep. And it's why I think we should move up a couple spots and land Bowers. He would be the best we've ever had plus we have the kid from the Hawks, Higs will be back and the kid who looked good last year. We could run 12 all day and nobody could stop it.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
No way.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Not long ago CK won the triple crown among receivers and caught the winning TD in the SB. He was the best WR in all of the NFL. He came back from a serious injury and became the second weapon as Puka emerged as the best rookie WR ever. I see them both as superstars going forward. They re-signed their #3, still have Atwell. I see no need at all for WR. We need an edge, ILB, 2 CBS, a safety, 2 TEs,by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
It wouldn't be a bad pick, especially if we moved down a couple of spots. I am hoping for the big TE.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I like the 6' 10" safety.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought the same thing.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
That was very poorly written, but the thing I did learn is that Wentz doesn't need to play any more football. He has made about $130 million. He can look at any opportunity he likes and money will not be the determining factor. Of course the Rams would like him back as a quality #2. But, like Baker Mayfield, he has the ability to be a starter elsewhere. So, I doubt anyone will whisperby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
He caught the ball when targeted. That's all we can expect. McVay uses his WRs to block and the bigger stronger guys do that better. Also, Puka was amazing and got most of the targets. Can't blame Tutu for that.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe he needed more than two weeks for the type of injuries he's facing? I think he's been playing hurt all season. He looked like himself when he first came back mid season, but got hurt again. In the next couple of weeks we'll learn more about his health. Hopefully it's something he can rehab this off-season. I really enjoy his play and can remember two seasons ago when he had the bby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
It's very hard to really know what we need, but it does seem that there were a few spots where we let someone go in FA and was hoping a young guy would emerge and it didn't really happen. You cite CB as number one. Well, Ramsey was a #1 CB. He wanted top top money and lost a step, but, if we had him yesterday, we probably win the game. You have EDGE next. Well, Floyd was a pretty strongby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Baker Mayfield. Also, Moro e here said the Wentz was smarter than Goff. The kids at Cal are smart. My kids both go there. Let's not smack down the Golden Bears.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
The thing is that every pro kicker should have a super high percentage of makes inside 45 yards out and they should nail all their XPs. It's incredible that our guy misses so many of each and they're not close. It's not whether it could cost us a win but when will it? Yesterday we were lucky that the other team didn't have a good kicker. McVay is already going for 4th down plays when a FG is theby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
He is the best HC and still learning. Hard to believe what he and Snead accomplished with this group. Some of his decisions are baffling but most of the time he finds a way to win. The players are balling out and seem to love the guy. We lost several All Pro level stars and replaced them with late round rookies and got better. Lost Ramsey, Floyd, Wagner on D and improved. I screamed we shoulby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I am nervous before all Rams games. All! Kinda wish I could break free of caring so much. I'm a wreck during games.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
We may not be better in special teams play. We have a PK who misses. Our blocking and tackling are subpar and our returner is below average. I like our punter, but he's the only shining star.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Would love to sign him back.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Biggest thing is team health. Last season was such a disaster for them. We had no OL, no WR, no QB. Even AD didn't finish the year. And we had some big injuries earlier the season too. Coop was out. Stafford missed a game with the thumb. Havs has missed time. We are nearly at 100 percent and the parts are all working well together. Hate losing to the Steelers because they ripped away a Super Bowlby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, Stafford should feel comfortable playing at Detroit. He played a lot of games there. Many more than Goff. I think it'd be a good fight but I see us winning it.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I was going to write the same thing. And a punter? Not our biggest need. Love the guy we got and he also kicks off for us.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
My thoughts are we are probably going into the playoffs and could run the table. Why think about next April when we have a hot and exciting team right now. These articles are great for March.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Another thought. When the HC spins you a new game ball while congratulating you with praise be sure to catch it. These guys did, but could you imagine missing One?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
