I have 2 tickets to training camp on Saturday, July 27 that I can't use. Send me a PM with your first name, last name, and email address if you want them and I will transfer them to you: first come, first served. I am hoping that the recipients will post photos and a camp report, but I'm not putting that out there as a requirement. Camp is held at: Loyola Marymount University 1 Loyola Mby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
That DaSilva, a real risk taker. Every single poster on this board who cares to take a stab at the final 53 will have these 24 players on their list. I'm really not sure what the point of the article even is.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The OP lists this as the Rams' WORRYING WEAKNESS: Is Cooper Kupp still elite? The worrying weakness in my mind is a little different: Is Cooper Kupp healthy (and if so, can he stay healthy for the entire season)? Among the qualities that make Kupp elite are his complete understanding of the offense, his ability to read defenses, his total synchronization with Stafford, his route running, hby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Looks like someone transposed a couple numbers. The Rams starting OL total 1,651 lbs, not 1,615.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The Bengals are listed as #1. Using the 5 starters shown on Ourlad's the Bengal's starting 5 OL total 1,660 lbs. The Rams starting 5 total 1,651 lbs.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
First, let me say that I am not defending the Rams' strategy last year. This is just my interpretation of what the Rams were doing and should not be seen as an endorsement. So here goes. Kupp did not return punts last year. Yes, I know we all saw him back there when the other team was punting, but he was only in there when the result of the punt was either going to be a fair catch or it wby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
My guess is Wentz runs better than he throws so they leveraged what he does best.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
My suggestion: figure out his best position (RG?) and have him play that one position all preseason. Give him plenty of playing time during preseason games at that one position, and if it turns out that he can't stick with the Rams then maybe his tape will convince another team to trade for him. The trade route seems like the most optimistic outcome. And I just checked: the Rams only have oby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
All the Rams have to do is keep three QBs on their 53 man roster. It might not be easy to do in practice, but teams do it. "Of the 32 NFL teams, 13 have three quarterbacks on the initial 53-man roster. Last year, 12 teams carried three quarterbacks on the active roster." On game day the Rams could have Stafford and Garoppolo active and Bennett inactive. But they could have Benby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

Everything you say is true, however ... The Lions won by a point. The Rams had three red-zone trips that resulted in three FGs. 1st and goal from the 6. Three incomplete passes. FG. 1st and 10 at the 11. Incomplete pass, a pass that lost a yard, a pass that gained 4 yards. FG. 1st and 10 at the 13. A run (!) that lost a yard, a pass that gained 3, and an incomplete pass.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsdude No matter what it is called it still is one of the most famous plays in Rams history. Period. And even though we got the ball back, it was AD's play that ended that game IMO. :beercan Upon further review, that is indeed a worthy nominee ... and my original response was off target by a mile. I just watched the SB 56 recap on Sports Center yesterday and my heart was beating a mby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
For me, the play you're referring to won't be as famous as The Tackle. For one thing, it wasn't the last play of the game like The Tackle was. (The Rams got the ball after that and had the victory formation kneel down to end the game.) Secondly, it wasn't a sack. It was an incomplete pass. And yes, I know that the entire play was AD imposing his dominance on the Bengals to seal the victoby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't even read the article, but that's my answer. All I did was type two words: The tackle. And you all know what play I meanby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice to see the horns well represented on this list. It looks like Flipper was the last player to average at least 25 yards a catch (1989).by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Even though Beaux Limmer was picked in the 6th round it seems like he's in the running for backup at guard and center on game day. He played center and guard at Arkansas. 41 starts: 12 at center, 1 at LG, 28 at RG. He's a rangy blocker with great quickness and the body control to nail targets out in space. He's a gifted competitor who fights through the whistle, and cleanly processes stuntby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams kept 5 safeties last season and will likely keep 5 this year. JJ's signing probably has more to do with upgrading that 5th spot than it has to do with the Rams needing a starting safety.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
This signing could be a roundabout way of boosting CB depth. Yeast and Lake both seem to be in the mix at safety. Maybe the Rams add JJ to the safety room and let either Lake or Yeast play CB full time?by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams paid a lot to trade up for Fiske, and even though every knows he wasn't drafted to replace Aaron Donald, the fact remains that he's the first DL the Rams picked following AD's retirement. Expectations are sky high for this kid, but for some reason I get the feeling he will at least meet those expectations. I'm looking forward to seeing him do his thing.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I've been trying to roll this into the equation, too. His first 2 years he apparently played OLB at 310 lbs. And he's still listed as 310 lbs on some sites. But the Rams now list him at 267 lbs. Any chance Hoecht will be a better pass rusher at 267? Any chance he'll be better in coverage at 267? Can't wait to find out ...by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
The biggest difference between Wentz and Garoppolo that I see is that the Rams can pretty much run the same offense - the one McVay actually wants to run - whether Stafford or Garoppolo is in there. Wentz apparently can't run McVay's offense, and to me that seems like a big deal.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Many of us (myself included) thought McVay was a pass-happy play caller. But the data refutes that in a big way. I couldn't get thru the whole article - much to long for my attention span these days - but the point was made i n what did read: the Rams under McVay actually pass less often than most teams in the NFL. And this is my expectation, although it might have been expressed in the arby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
From the article: "John Kay shared a drone video on YouTube showing the facility taking shape, with modular trailers in place and the practice fields getting ready for grass sod to be laid down." Are they using grass fields at the practice facility because grass is a better surface for the players? If so they should figure out how to convert the playing surface in SoFi to grass.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It might be tough having a rookie as the next man up at center - so much to learn in such a short time. But I don't know that the Rams have much of a choice.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I knew better than to read this article but I plugged my nose and gave it a shot. I got this far: QuoteAs it stands, the Rams currently have seven players set to make more than $10M in 2024. Those players are: Matthew Stafford: $49.5M Cooper Kupp: $29.8M Rob Havenstein: $14.7M Jonah Jackson: $13.6M Kevin Dotson: $12.7M Tyler Higbee: $12.6M Joseph Noteboom: $11.6M That is not whatby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I've always thought Ourlad's did a good job with depth charts and here's what they show as the 2nd string OL: Noteboom, LT Leveston, LG Limmer, C Bruss, RG McClendon, RT They also show Miller as a guard and Arcuri as a tackle. But the Rams do a great job of cross training their OL, especially their backups, so any of the reserves could pop up at virtually any position. I think youby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it comes down to matchups: what offensive personnel gives you the greatest advantage over the other team's players? That is likely to change from game to game as each defense McVay game plans against will have different personnel and different strengths and weaknesses. When McVay sees an opportunity to use a 2 TE set to exploit a deficiency on the other team I am confident he will doby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 I’m hoping that McVay lets his imagination run loose from the typical 90% standard 11 sets. Make the D defend every blade of grass against every Ram O facet. Everything I've read makes me think that the Rams 11 personnel stresses the defense more than a 2 TE set and I expect as heavy a dose of 11 personnel this year as we've ever seen. If the Rams are in 11 personnel and the defeby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
