The only thing that makes sense to me is that the Rams like the CBs they have better than Alexander. At that price I can't even make up another reason.
The Rams know what they have at CB better than anyone. And they opted not to sign a FA CB (including Alexander), not to draft a CB, not to add a college FA after the draft, and not to trade for Ramsey. Collectively that says the Rams have a lot of confidence in the CB room they already have.
Is that confidence warranted? Man, I really hope so ...
