Not sure. Though just at quick glance two teams in big 2021 cap trouble are PHIL (projected a whopping $51M over the cap) and NO ($34.3M over). Philly ties up (as of now) 34.2% of their 2021 cap and 29.1% in 2022 in Carson Wentz, Lane Johnson and Fletcher Cox. New Orleans has 34.3% and 23.3%, respectively, committed to Drew Brees, Michael Thomas and Cameron Jordan. Though there with Breesby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
2020- 26.3% 2021- 29.1% 2022- 24.1% 2023- 21.2%* * zero guaranteed money owed Donald. Just FYI as Rams eye extensions for Ramsey, Kupp, possibly Johnson.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it will be all about the guaranteed money. Slay's deal is roughly 60% guaranteed money and Jones' is roughly 55% while Waynes was only about 40%. I can't see Ramsey signing for anything less than 65% guaranteed (which I believe is about what Donald received). So maybe the average/year can be around $18M over 5 years but only if the guaranteed amount is about $57M or so. And then maybeby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Steady, reliable. Very good OLB.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hill was an exceptional TE with Detroit for 7 years before coming to the Rams in '83. He never put up big numbers with the Rams (what receiver did in LA in the mid-'80s?) but he was reliable and a very good blocker.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Didn't think I'd like this but we all did- ELT sandwiches (eggplant, lettuce and tomato). Peeled and thinly sliced eggplant, drizzled with a mix of olive oil, soy sauce, black pepper, smoked paprika and garlic powder. Can't recall exactly how long she cooked them on a baking sheet/foil in the oven but until semi-crisp. Layered hoagie rolls with garlic hummus, sliced tomato, romaine and aby LMU93 - Bucky's Pub

If I'm not mistaken Edwards first 3 starts were at LG? Just seems like if they want to keep Evans on the right side you slide him over where he won't be on an island and keep him next to Havenstein and put Edwards next to Whitworth.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd like the OL to be better than middle of the pack too. But regarding Goff I think he can be quite a bit better than 2019 behind even a mediocre OL. They were brutal the first 6-7 games. Brutal. I would use the last 7 games (once Blythe became the center, Evans and Corbett were inserted into the lineup, etc.) as the bigger sample size. Goff had an 82.7 QB rating the first 9 games. 91.4 overby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. Havenstein was bad from the get go last year. No question. And I had assumed months ago they were likely moving on from him given that and that Evans showed up reasonably well the 2nd half of the year. But have to assume that them keeping him is a sign they believe he was either playing hurt and/or something else was a factor they feel can be corrected. You're right. No sure things aby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think what you're saying about Whitworth, Sullivan and Saffold is true. Whitworth was the single best position upgrade (going from Robinson) in the entire league in 2017. Sullivan was a steadying influence that was solid yet unspectacular. Saffold went from good to great to LG. On Havenstein, my view of him is he always had trouble with upper tier, speed EDGE guys. But...overall in 3 of hisby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Very true. The Rams entered 2019 with their top 3 reserves being Demby and two rookies. Combined with the inexperienced Noteboom and Allen starting and the OL overall was a massive roll of the dice. This year, by contrast, they have experienced starters at LT, C and RT with the OG competition among three players who all started between 7-10 games each last year. Regardless of how it shakes ouby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it's highly unlikely they deal him this summer. But there's always that remote chance depending on how others on the OL show up. What I saw on OverTheCap was a savings of $4.66M if traded post-June 1st.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
They would have cut him months ago if they didn't want him (instead of later needing to restructure Goff's deal). And I think, as someone else posted, if the Rams had attempted to trade him (a) we'd have heard about it and (b) it would have happened for a day 3 pick. They are apparently banking on a healthy Havenstein returning to form and having Evans, Edwards and Corbett have a three-way coby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Jefferson's playing time will grow rapidly during the season but my guess is Reynolds is the WR3 early on. Even Kupp was getting like 58% of snaps the first month of 2017 and it was 90% by the final 6 games. I can see Jefferson getting something like 15 snaps per game (25%) early on but growing to 60%+ the 2nd half of the year.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
A lot of unknown and we'll sees with him. But I'll say this. I think had he not been hurt he'd have absolutely been the starter in the middle last year and that he's a solid upgrade over Hager and Reeder. And while, yes, you can say "well, that's not saying much" the key is upgrading that spot from 2019. And I think he does. And I think the experience Reeder gained will help him andby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I like the Staley hire and I also like that he'll bring a defense that is more unpredictable, disguises some things more, etc. But they have a lot in place. The best defensive player in the league and a top-flight secondary featuring one of the top 10 defensive players in the league. The Rams need a couple things for this defense to be top tier: - better red zone defense (they were 29th).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
...which these projections almost never are but IF true the Rams would be facing 4 of the 5 worst offenses and 7 of the bottom 10. Of course they also have all three NFC West rivals in the top 10 and would have the Rams playing 8 games vs. top 10 offenses.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the key is only doing 75 or 80 percent of what you can really do in your first set to prevent getting gassed early. I did 50 second time trying. Shooting to add 2-4 each attempt.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I always liked Guman. The guy just did a bit of everything to help the team. Early in his career he ran the ball well- over 1100 yards rushing 1980-82. Then Dickerson arrives in 1983 and he takes on the U-Back role as mostly a blocker and receiver and was very good. Also a valuable special teams player throughout his career. Remember the 43 yard KOR TD on the onside kick at CIN in 1984? Anywaby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

Its always about pressuring the QB. I am all for better run defense and think they have taken steps to improve there, but this is not 1980 and the biggest correlation to having a true top tier defense and winning more will come down to consistently pressuring the opposing QB.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Granted, they have contracts to hand out with Ramsey, Kupp, possibly Johnson. But they're in decent shape going forward. By the way, as of right now the Eagles are $51M over the cap in 2021. Saints $34M.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jack of all trades. Underappreciated. Best year was 1980- 807 rushing yards, 53 catches. One of only 4 Rams with multiple 100+ yard rushing games in the playoffs (McCutcheon, Dickerson, Gurley).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think you can easily say Brooks was one of the top 5-6 DL in the NFL from the mid-'70s through 1980 (along with Youngblood, Mean Joe Greene, Randy White, Lee Roy Selmon. Maybe Harvey Martin.).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
A backup for several years that got some starts at RG in 1980 and then took over for a 6-time Pro Bowler at center and ended up going to 6 Pro Bowls himself while being pretty much an iron man for them (6 missed games from 1981-1991).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

I think it's part of the larger plan for the 'campus' around the stadium but I would guess it's pretty far down the line. There's a smaller arena (7-8k or so?) and NFL Network studios that I am guessing are bigger priorities.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
