To each his own....by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
1973 is before my time (I started in '78) so I'm genuinely curious. How was the (pretty drastic) redesign met then? In 2000 I wasn't a fan of the uniform and color changes but, hey, they'd just won the Super Bowl and I supposed they were trying to make a clean break from LA. They lit up the scoreboard from week 1 so, whatever, and it was never discussed again...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, that's a good point (both for and against, really...). On the field, from the stands, on TV, etc. the minor things being pointed out about the helmet will barely be perceptible. The colors will be (which I like).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the road whites would be much better with blue horns and yellow on the sleeves.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
If you look at RamsNewLook.com you will notice as you scroll down the 'Our Threads' visual of the three 2020 options along with 2021 and 2022 grayed out as if it's very much TBD and evolving.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I like the home blue jersey/yellow pants combo. And I actually like the helmets and the gradient numbers. But disappointed in the road whites version. Would have much preferred something closely evolved from the '73-'99 blue horn/yellow sleeve. To me the whites just look more like practice jerseys.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I have a box about 12'x10' (was our son's sandbox when he was little) that I plant but I go from seed so nothing will show up for a while yet. Cucumbers, tomatoes, serrano and poblano peppers this year. Plus three front porch planters with lavender, rosemary and mint that I've yet to plant because of how cold it's still been. Otherwise have been getting our lawn back to various shades of brigby LMU93 - Bucky's Pub
I'm not sure he ever becomes a starter but what's attractive about Burgess is his versatility to play multiple spots/roles. He'll earn playing time early on just being able to plug into multiple situations and fill in for guys. Plus I would guess he's a core special teamer right away.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
He had that great 39-yard run and runs of 13, 8 and 7 yards and he had a couple nice catches. But his other 13 carries totaled exactly -7 yards.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Good for CK. But this is also partly why I don't buy jerseys of current players. I won't buy a jersey of anyone younger than me.. My last two "current player" jerseys I received as gifts (Bradford in 2011 and Gurley in 2017) and both became obsolete too quickly. The #85 Youngblood jersey I bought around 1997 finally literally started falling apart last year and needs a proper buby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he has the flexibility and savvy to play any of the three WR spots- as does Woods and Kupp. That's part of the beauty of them together. They can line up anywhere, interchange, etc. He is not a pure replacement for Cooks and in fact I think Woods and Kupp would take on more of the deep routes role. With Jefferson added and the emergence of Higbee the 2nd half of last year it helps theby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Such a perfect fit for this offense.....by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, they face Wilson twice as usual and Prescott, Wentz, Brady and Jimmy G. are all legit. But the rest of the list is (on paper) pretty pedestrian.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he's going to do really good things over the next 4 years...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Honestly, between Young, Kiser and Howard, if ONE of them shows up and plays very well/above expectations in their role this year it will be a big boost for the defense overall.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you overall. In many ways, there's been a plethora of empathy and I really think some good that will emerge long term from all this. Perspectives on what's important in life and on how much so many of us do have. What time with family really can look like. What connecting with friends can mean. Yet in other ways, not nearly enough. Same with fear. Same with patience. Same with undersby LMU93 - Bucky's Pub
Receiving production from Rams RBs 2017: 842 yards, 6 TDs 2018: 649 yards, 5 TDs 2019: 260 yards, 2 TDs I'm far less worried about replacing Cooks deep threat option and much more about the 70% decline in production from RBs catching the ball out of the backfield. The Rams don't need Henderson and Akers to be 2017 Todd Gurley catching the ball but they do have to be a legit option.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he's a tremendous fit and while he has less highlight reel, splash plays the consistency he can bring as a route runner and guy with tremendous hands and smarts is exactly a great fit to combine with Kupp and Woods. I think he will eat up everything McVay and O'Connell throw his way. He was never meant to be a replacement for Cooks. He's an asset to the offense.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
A few things the team and some players could accomplish in 2020: Team: - If they make the postseason, Rams would be just the 6th franchise to do so 30+ times. Sean McVay: - needs 8 wins to pass Ray Malavasi for 5th most by a Rams head coach (41) - if Rams go 11-5 or better he would have the 8th best winning percentage in league history for head coaches with at least 4 years' experience.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. Wonder if this factors in that McVay said last night they will stay east between the PHIL and BUF games. 5 east coast games is a lot but the way they are placed is pretty ideal. Their travel will be much less in 2021-2023.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Exactly. Just once leaving Pacific Time in the final 9 weeks. Better to travel east earlier when the weather is better and they have fresher legs.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed.. They traveled a decent amount for preseason the past couple years. They should obviously face the Chargers and Raiders every preseason.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not going to go through the "this is a W, this is a L" fruitless exercise. And every team in the league has things they can gripe about in their schedule. But some general Rams' schedule thoughts. - Dallas is the right choice for the home opener. Whether you like or even respect him or not, the Rams are not in LA without Jerry - The opening 3 games are tough. And I'm assuming they lby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
If things pan out with everything going on I am going to Miami. Better city. Easier ticket to get.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Philly then Buffalo. 3 east coast games in the first 5 weeks. Who knows how things pan out but I am shooting to go to Miami Nov. 1.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I heard them mention it a couple times a day or so before the Draft and sometime on Day 3 when they were thanking everyone involved in pulling it together. Scary stuff... Glad he's OK.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought he was actually a very solid starter. 35.5 sacks from 1985-1989.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
