I'm no expert but from what I've read about the top end of this year's draft I'm not impressed. Fans love to fantasize about what a rookie will do to strengthen their team. More often than not it doesn't come true the 1st year, and this year's talent doesn't seem to be getting the hype that past drafts have placed on the top draft picks. I feel really good, even better than before, about Mby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Stafford did have some bad INTs. His ego was writing checks that his arm strength couldn't cash. He's got to become more judicious, and accurate, in his passing decisions. Ramsey didn't look like an All-pro during the playoffs but he did make some great plays. He just seemed to have some bad lapses. I don't know why. Also, I don't think the team can afford to waste another pick like theby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

They've proven to be a strong and resilient team for the past couple of years. They have a good football org and they've owned us for the most part. Give the devil his due; they are arch rivals for good reason. But yeah, i'm hoping that their turmoil sinks their boat like that Russian ship!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Does Jones become Von Miller in a 5-1? Do you think Jones can rush the QB almost as good as Miller? If "yes" then doesn't the pick up of Wagner replace the loss of Miller and save the Rams cap space? Certainly Wagner is a level or more better than Reeder so, if the answer to the question above is "yes" then doesn't that make the Rams better against the run?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I became a Rams fan when Allen was their head coach. I was around 12 years old then. I wasn't able to understand all the nuanced talk the tv commentators said about Allen trading draft picks but I could tell is was a little controversial. However, the Rams were winning consistently and Allen ended his pro career as having 2nd highest winning percentage, only behind Lombardi, (I think). Fasby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
First time I've seen it and I loved it!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Kupp, holy moly! King of the WRs! Gaines was Donald's right hand man Allen, I was down on him and thought he was the weak link. Instead he turned himself into a real solid, top center. Other nice surprises: Coach McVay - he did much better than I thought he would OBJ - I knew he had the talent, I didn't think he would be a "team-player."by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

I don't think it is nitpicking as much as just stating the obvious. BW makes us much better but he's not the great LBer he used to be. And I agree with you that a change of scenery might be a real big bump up for him.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you, that was a very enjoyable and informative read.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
BW has been a stud LBer for much of his career. I've recently re-watched him in some games vs. the Rams and he didn't look great at all. He reminded me of MIcah Kiser - often one or two steps lates to the RB. As Youngblook showed having a lot of tackles isn't a bar of performance, instead tackles for loss, broken up pass plays, sacks, and INTs are better performance indicators. I didn'tby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think the minor injuries can account for all the time he moved in the wrong direction. Jumped forward when he should have moved back. His speed didn't seem to be the issue, it was his judgment. No pass for me. I know he is still a good DB, just not a superstar, at least in my view.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
He looked bad in the playoffs. I think he's still a good DB but he's not the all-time stud that some claim. He's overrated.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
JY, so if I understand you correctly you're saying we need a faster/quicker ILB instead of a run-stuffing ILB that Wagner is supposed to still be? Having re-watched one of the Rams/Hawks games and kept my eye on Wagner, I was not impressed at all. He looked like Micah Kiser to me. I know he's an all time great LBer but maybe he just ain't as good as he used to be. Maybe the Hawks knew whatby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The pic of McVay on the entry has the best smile I've ever seen coach McVay smile. He looks super happy!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The Tutu pick was bad. That center who I think is at KC has turned out to be pretty good! It was a missed opportunity for the Rams.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't know how much he's asking for so I took a guess. That, plus not having a great year has him on the outside looking in. I always wished the Rams could have drafted him.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Love the colors but would rather have solid horns.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I've always been a pure Blue and White guy. Never a fan of the yellow or gold. Yeah, I know they won 2 SBs with those colors. I became a Rams fan around 1968 and Blue and White have been my favorites ever since. Gabriel to Snow was art. When the DLine was on they were so fun to watch.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Speed brings up some interesting points but I wonder if our FO is perhaps taking a different approach to things. Maybe they believe they are somewhat ok for now, they are aware of their limitations, and will make moves later, as need demands and as the season progresses just like last year. Not everything has to be fixed overnight and patience can be very rewarding.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
H2, you said it all in perfect detail. Thank you.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wasn't he an all time great with the Falcons? I'm surprised to see that he's unsigned. Anybody know why, (other than he wants too much money)?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
That's a good point, Weddle did help us those last few games. I'm sure Wagner could do the same.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I hear what you're sayin Gator. I used to be a fencing contractor and I got a job to build a fence around a graveyard. It paid well. I met with the city officials and asked, "Why do you want to put a fence around the graveyard?" They said, "It's because people are dyin to get in!"by Coy Bacon - Bucky's Pub
I'm not a LBer expert, but as I watched the replay of the rams playing the hawks I thought that Wagner was a step slow. He looked just like Micah Kiser looked to me. I know he has great accolades but I was not impressed with what I saw. Granted it's a small sample size, but I'm not to sold on him. I'll trust the insight of some of our more knowledgeable members here.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Ramstein, this is not the way to comm. with a fellow Ram fan. I don't always agree with JY53 but he is not stupid and he's made some solid points. I appreciate his thought and input on this board as I do yours. Please forgive me using a cliche but since we just won the SB, "can't we all just get along?"by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you JY for going to the trouble to post the stats and show that tackles don't necessarily mean great play. The details you've brought out, missed tackles, tackles for loss, etc. tell a more accurate story.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
It was a real pleasure watching Woods in this video. I'm sad he's gone but I understand why.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
