Yeah, I noticed that it was AD who effectively ended those 2 games, and you're correct, I don't think any pundits have noticed or given him the great credit he deserved. Somehow he elevated his game to Godzilla level during the playoffs. Above Deacon Jones? I am not sure about that but I'm biased as I have a lot of romantic nostalgia for Jones, Olsen, and of course Bacon. Here are some stby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you Roman, but OTOH, I have very little hope for him. If he played up to his draft level he'd make us a stronger team, but I really believe that he's done. He's too small and won't be able to take the beating the NFL dishes out. I'd prefer to be wrong and I've been wrong before about players.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
LMU, What would be a good number for a RB snap count? I feel like other posters on this board, he's damaged goods and unreliable. But if we keep drafting little guys to run the ball they're all going to become damaged goods.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
With a year under his belt in McVay's system, a diminishing "It's all on me" attitude, and a growing confidence that he's got killer weapons and a killer D, he'll cut down on his stupid mistakes, INTs, and become deadly efficient.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I tend to be on the pessimistic side, however, I've been too pessimistic about McVay and he's done far greater than I thought he would. That being said, I think you're 10-7 prediction is very reasonable. I don't think we'll play like a powerhouse next season. I think we'll be very good but not great. I think 12-5 is where we'll be.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
That's more than just luck; there's some wisdom in your insight. Perfect predictions. How do you see the Rams' doing next season?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. I am worried that Ramsey thinks more highly of himself than he really is. He wasn't great in the SB, if anything maybe average or mediocre. He isn't the AD of DBs.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, it is obvious that Stafford elevates everyone around him like AD does. When I think about last season, having Stafford come in here and having to learn the offense, and goes on to win the SB, I think he has yet to blossom fully. I hope he loses his "it all depends on me" attitude and makes some better decisions when the pass isn't there instead of forcing it. Every seriesby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

If anyone is that far off the mark they don't deserve to be taken seriously. Why waste your time reading her? She's probably been so often wrong about the Rams that now she's given them higher wins just so she doesn't look so stupid and inept. I see that she's called an "Analytics Expert!" LOL. Obviously she's analyzing the wrong data, or perhaps "analysis" doesn't meanby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not so sure it is tough either. Seattle shouldn't be tough. Arizona shouldn't be tough even though they beat us once last year, SF will be tough but not as tough as without Jimmy G.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I know what you mean Fer, we have had our share of bad seasons. But right now, you and I still have smiles on our faces. We've had five very good or great years in a row and it's a very nice feeling instead of feeling like losing so often, and we've grown to expect more from McSnead and our team. Detroiters only have hope and the darkness of sportswinter.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I think all of us felt angry after that loss. 12 wins didn't seem like anything to celebrate. But I live in the Detroit area. I said to my local Dr., "Dr Vinnie, I'm upset, the Rams only got 12 wins and lost the last game to the 9ers." He replied, "12 wins, what is that?" Then he paused and thought, then said, "Oh, you mean they needed 4 seasons to get 12 wins, I undby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Isn't that the definition of good, "dependable and solid"? Not "great" but good. He delivered solid performance for the Rams. He now wears at least 2 SB rings as a featured back. He definitely brings something to the table. I don't understand why the Rams didn't re-sign him unless it was a salary cap thing. Jake Funk hasn't been "good." Akers and Henderson hby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
For me it'd be Stafford. Since I'm in the Detroit area I've heard a lot of flak about Stafford and its nice to see him prove his Detroit, and other critics, wrong. I'd love it for him to win another SB just to really shut them up for good. I root for Kupp because he was a total nobody but became a star through hard work and discipline. It's nice to see the little guys make it big. I rootby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
When you wrote "Jones and Olsen" my brain flashed and said, "Are you talking about our great defensive line of days of old?" Did you write that in that order deliberately? Made me smile all the more.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I think I'll remember that one most. It wasn't the most drama filled play but it put us in the lead and I was fairly confident our defense would stop them. Honestly, I hated that we had to complete 4th qtr. drives in each of the last three game to take the lead and win. I'd rather we be ahead by 50 with 5 mins to go. OTOH, I'm so very impressed that our offense made it look so easy each timby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
What site does RamBill have? I'd like to give it a look.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
If the Rams could get him for cheap, why not trade for him? I know the salary cap is a big issue, but I got to believe that he is a much better QB than Wolford. Sorry is this is a stupid idea, i'd just like to have a better backup at QB than who we have currently.by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Gee, a 2nd and a 3rd round pick! I'm excited just for the sake of the draft drama!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
The 9ner fans are kinda fickle when it comes to QBs. They've been spoiled by the great success of their past QBs. Jimmy G got them to the SB and other playoff runs. With that record he'd be sainted in Detroit! Jimmy G. was good enough to whip the Rams more times than not, and lead his team to two very tough victories against Dallas and Green Bay. Personally I hope he goes to play for theby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I really got a good laugh from GPs post! I'm assuming that he's being comical, and not serious, with his post. Nobody who's followed the Rams would sincerely think that. How long have we been hearing, "one of these days those lack of draft picks is gonna get you!." LOL, and we just won the SB! If that's being "caught up to" I hope they keep on catching up! I think JYby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm no expert but from what I've read about the top end of this year's draft I'm not impressed. Fans love to fantasize about what a rookie will do to strengthen their team. More often than not it doesn't come true the 1st year, and this year's talent doesn't seem to be getting the hype that past drafts have placed on the top draft picks. I feel really good, even better than before, about Mby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Stafford did have some bad INTs. His ego was writing checks that his arm strength couldn't cash. He's got to become more judicious, and accurate, in his passing decisions. Ramsey didn't look like an All-pro during the playoffs but he did make some great plays. He just seemed to have some bad lapses. I don't know why. Also, I don't think the team can afford to waste another pick like theby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

They've proven to be a strong and resilient team for the past couple of years. They have a good football org and they've owned us for the most part. Give the devil his due; they are arch rivals for good reason. But yeah, i'm hoping that their turmoil sinks their boat like that Russian ship!by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Does Jones become Von Miller in a 5-1? Do you think Jones can rush the QB almost as good as Miller? If "yes" then doesn't the pick up of Wagner replace the loss of Miller and save the Rams cap space? Certainly Wagner is a level or more better than Reeder so, if the answer to the question above is "yes" then doesn't that make the Rams better against the run?by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I became a Rams fan when Allen was their head coach. I was around 12 years old then. I wasn't able to understand all the nuanced talk the tv commentators said about Allen trading draft picks but I could tell is was a little controversial. However, the Rams were winning consistently and Allen ended his pro career as having 2nd highest winning percentage, only behind Lombardi, (I think). Fasby Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Kupp, holy moly! King of the WRs! Gaines was Donald's right hand man Allen, I was down on him and thought he was the weak link. Instead he turned himself into a real solid, top center. Other nice surprises: Coach McVay - he did much better than I thought he would OBJ - I knew he had the talent, I didn't think he would be a "team-player."by Coy Bacon - RamsFootballFans.com
