It was a practice game. Nothing goes on your personal record. McVay didn't earn an L. We are not 0-1. That this kid needs to pay 4444 out of his pocket is ridiculous. If it were me I'd be talking to my union rep about why these games are being played at all and how he can be fined for making a tackle in a fake game. I also find it crazy that owners charge regular game prices for fans to watchby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Actually it is special. I've enjoyed many games there and a concert and the palace has a great vibe. The scoreboard is unbelievable. I can't see 9 better places to see a game. I've been to the Cowboys monstrous stadium. Not as nice. Best part is that the Rams play home games there.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
What is McVay supposed to do? I'm sure he didn't tell his player to do that. The guy got tossed and fined. Sure, he could talk to his player afterwards but would that be wise? The kid is probably embarrassed about the play. I think the entire conversation could be..."don't do that again." "Right. Sorry. I won't."by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Overall, I lined the article, but have one little criticism. He wrote, " He already has three career interceptions after playing defensive snaps in just seven games last year, so he produced a lot of big plays in limited action." 3 is a few. 3 is not a lot. 8 would be a lot. Words matter.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Ian Rappenport has absolutely no idea if Kupp will play next Sunday. None. I get that reporters often speculate about everything and need to do so, especially when teams try to hide so much from them. I'm glad Kupp is going to see a specialist. Wish he had done so the first time his hammy grabbed. Only problem is doctors will explain the fragility of the human body and can't tell anyone thatby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't like this. First our guy was also being grabbed by the face mask on the play. Should've been offsetting penalties and if you eject one eject both. Did the other guy get fined? And how do you get fined for a play in a game that doesn't count? It was a practice game. Also, for a late round drafted rookie this could be very expensive. How do we have such a huge disparity in salaries yet thby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
A few thoughts. First, let's not compare Akers to Gurley. Totally different talents. TG30 was the top RB taken in his class at 1-10. He would've been a top 5 pick but was injured. He was Offensive Player if the Year. He had rare speed. He could hurdle tacklers. He could catch passes and block. He was smart. Next, he flashed and then tore his Achilles. He had the most amazing comeback. He waby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Biggest game is #2 at SOFI vs Niners don't need to win game but first, they can't take over the stadium. The youngsters should get the idea that LA supports their team. And we can't get beat up and injured. If we beat the Hawks and lose a close game in game two and come out healthy with a split I could see a good fun season. If we lose both while proving we indeed have no run defense and lose keyby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Looks current. Does anybody know anything about this TE? Also, noticed Jake McQuaid was released. He was a terrific snapper for us. Love to have him back and the kid we drafted could learn from him.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think so. We have three star players at key positions. Losing any one or more and we are in big trouble. We have a lot of young talent who should improve throughout the season. If we can survive the first four games we might be a playoff team. If so, we add a Fowler or that edge guy that won with us and left us. McVay still has an amazing W-L record despite everyone getting hurt lasby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I have never understood why a guy with the ball is allowed to face mask a would be tackler. The face mask rule was created to help prevent neck injuries. It should be called each way.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I would be fine with that. Although it is was tougher to see over a bowler than a baseball cap.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Did Shelton actually beat out Allen? Haven't read that this is a certainty. The big reason is I have heard that Noteboom or Ancurum will start at RG. Nobody is explaining Boom's supposed injury. Looks like Jackson beat him out at LT. McVay is touting Boom as one of his best 5 and his best 5 will start. Havs is safe at RT and Avila is indelibly written in at LG and yet, we still don't know for surby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
While I loved the Bennett pick and see him as a very good backup in the future I agree that having a true vet QB available for game one is a very good idea. I don't know what a guy like Carson Wentz would think about backing up Stafford for a season while Bennett learns. Right now, this former first rounder has no job so he might pick up his phone. Bennett's Georgia team beats last night's Rams. Much better talent and years of working together in a terrific scheme. Georgia's starters We're drafted all over the NFL. Many of the offensive players in Rams' uniforms were late picks or undrafted FAs. Total depth OL with Guys like Acuri playing LT. And exactly who did he have as weapons? We need to stop watching PS games. Problem is we get very little off season news post draft for our team. We drafted 14 guys and half the team are rookies. Our board draft gurus get us pumped to watch these kids play. But, we get very few opportunities to see them before the real season begins. And if we can't see out rookie backup QB with real receivers, professional blocking and some actually sby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay has stayed many times that he uses the scrimmages against other teams to truly evaluate his team. He liked what he saw from these practices. He also doesn't want to lose starters to injury in a meaningless practice game. So, probably most of his cuts have already been made in his mind before the 3 PS games. He also loves to hide his playbook until the real bullets fly. So, we end up withby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice read. Thanks for posting. It's true the Rams played guys who are either going to be outright cut or maybe added to the practice squad...for the most part. But, Tomlinson is our likely starting nickel and he got thrown out of the game early. Our backup QB was dreadful and had to be yanked. Our first and only string kicker missed a gimme FG. Yes. He had no receivers and no blocking and yet his performance was worse than one could imagine. The interceptions were right to the other guys. Looks like he was literally throwing the game away like the gamblers were making him take a dive. I surely hope that if he had to come in for an injured Stafford with our starting offense he would perform completely differently. The kicker sucks. Onlyby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

The only two things that matter is health and evaluation. Half the players are going to cut after this hour of football. Making sure we keep the best half moving forward is critical. Also, the young players who would be our backups need to stay healthy and get done experience as injuries during the real games will occur. Also, our brain trust must correctly figure our injury designations, praby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I am with those that wanted to draft the Pro Bowl center. We really needed a center, maybe still do, and the best one fell to us. But, we picked Atwell and I look forward to Jim helping the Rams in another way.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Come on Cameron. I appreciate that you churn out so many Rams stories, but this sentence makes no sense. I can guarantee we won't finish with a .500 record. There are now 17 games. There is no longer an 8-8 record as a possibility. We can be 9-8 or 8/9.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
