Biggest thing is team health. Last season was such a disaster for them. We had no OL, no WR, no QB. Even AD didn't finish the year. And we had some big injuries earlier the season too. Coop was out. Stafford missed a game with the thumb. Havs has missed time. We are nearly at 100 percent and the parts are all working well together. The Rams are actually dominating in two phases of the game offense and defense. We are horrible in the STs area. Can't cover or block well on punts or kickoffs. PK missing too many tries and our punt is now being blocked. Part of the problem is the changes at LS, holder and both kickers. But, I think our lack of team depth is hurting our STs. So, our Rams have surpassed all expectations and stand 7-7 with 3 weeks to go. Playoffs are a distinct possibility. Looks like a great draft and some smart FA signings really helped. Funny thing is, as we are being hyper critical about where are weaknesses lie we notice edge, CB and PK as the most glaring. And we got rid of Floyd, Ramsey and Gay. Well, we have Wentz. And we have really no idea about Bennet in the future. Certainly it's disturbing that he is missing his whole rookie year, but if he can get over whatever's ailing him he is the perfect young QB to take over for Stafford in a couple of years. I am worried about this game. Seems like we don't match well against the Ravens. We don't play the option well. They have a lot of speed on offense and all their guys can run including their QB. I think the list is a little bigger than the Rams' wish list. Certainly another good edge rusher is high on the list. We were willing to give up big assets for Burns. I don't see why we need another taller speed receiver. Kupp and Puka both have good size and apparently are fast enough. Atwell is blazing fast and has good hands. If our OL gels, our RB stays healthy, Kupp bounces back and Stafford doesn't get crushed we can not only make the playoffs but push to win it all. We had a horrid opening half schedule. We have a lot of young guys improving on the team. By the last game they shouldn't be rookies anymore. And Stafford, although he's inconsistent at times can get on a roll and win big games. Agree. Brady was the top rated passer in the NFL into his mid 40's. Why would Stafford be done because he hurt his thumb? Keeping Floyd may have been a good idea, but it's not the D that is causing losses. It has been our poor offense and special teams.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

So, I just watched it. Some things screamed out. Obviously I agree that Rypien never should've been our backup QB. But, awful as he was, our OL was worse. Noteboom needs to be let go. Don't care how much he makes or how high he was drafted or how highly he was once regarded. He totally blows. If he's our third best OT then OT will be our first pick. And maybe our second too. That's all true. People are transplants here. I live in Los Angeles but came here from NJ. I was a Rams fan there too. I remember as a kid going to Giants Stadium In a sea of dark blue jerseys as the lone Rans fan clad head to toe in Ram's gear. Often, I was the only happy fan after WE would whip them. Parking near the stadium could easily run you more than $100. And it's nearly impossible to get an Uber from the stadium after the game. The casino is more than $100 and it's very hard to get out of it. Definitely a shuttle bus of some sort is the way to go. I have a friend with a season parking pass and we carpool into the spot. First, this season isn't over. We could make the playoffs then run the table. Second, the writer predicts a 6-10 record in a 17 game season. Hard to follow his thinking after that. I don't think Stafford is over the hill or injury prone. With better blocking his thumb would be fine. Last season he nearly got killed by the dreadful OL.
