I would imagine the thought of not being able to walk without pain for the rest of your life would be a bigger mental factor than brown would beby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
I could use some help here, I am struggling to understand what happened on the 2nd and 26 Kamara screen pass play? the run was 23 yards so it would have 3rd and 3, but there was a block in the back after the catch and the Rams accepted the penalty. the Saints repeated 2nd down but now it was 2nd and 21. So they gained 5 yards and repeated 2nd down. What I am having a hard time graspingby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
but it was after the play and assessed from the completion. The Saints were 2 and 26 and after the penalty, they were 2 and 21. The Saints had a penalty against them which helped them. They did not lose a down and still gained yardage?by headslapper - Game Time Forum
The kamara play was second down I thought. The block in the back was from the start of the foul so they counted Kamara's catch and then moved back but still picked up like 5 yards. Why did they repeat second down again?by headslapper - Game Time Forum
But with the exact same look Gurley gets the ball this time, or it ends up being a pass to Kupp etcby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
We all know that Gurley has always done his best work in the fourth quarter after wearing down the defense. Seems to me that prior to the wearing down, Gurley would not have the best YPC numbers. If Gurley is going to take a pounding to get 1 or 2 yards, it makes sense to let a younger, fresher, less pricey RB do that dirty work. Once Brown does his job wearing down the D, Gurley can come inby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
you guessed it right haha, but it was higher than you thoughtby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
What a shift, we used to watch other teams cuts to fill out our team, we were a eater and needed those feeders. We are now a feeder, and the eaters need us. A complete turn around in regards to quality of team. I am sad by losing guys like Hodge and Dakota Allen, and I am disappointed in guys like Franklin Meyers, but perhaps that is the price to becoming a feeder. No matter how you slby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Not surprised, but sad to see those guys go, they will both be playing in this league against us instead of for usby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
But linemen are trading, but hey CB are worthy of a trade. We have some good CBs that will be cut. If you really like one of out CB backups you can sway who we cut vs keep etc with an offer. Also if you really think someone can help your team in a major way you don't want to cross your fingers and hope if he gets cut he falls to you. A trade ensures you get the rights to the player you want.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Snead getting called for trades but if no player swap desired than I bet he asks for a 6th and we settle on a 7th. Hopefully we get a coupleby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
I really liked the way Wolford looked, stood in the pocket when he had to but also pretty mobile, gives a different look and he throws well while rolling out. I loved Dakota Allen, I had a suspicion he was doing better than Kiser before, now I am convinced of it. If Kiser was still 100% I would bet he would not be starting anyway. Dakota is everywhere, and him and Littleton will make a dynamicby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Do you think instead of waivers we trade some of the guys for picks? I am guessing we get at least a couple late round picks with cut downs.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Just commenting about a post on here where someone was predicting a possible controversy with paying Goff or not.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
I got hooked up with my job and spent the day in a VIP tent. View ended up being both great and bad depending on the time of practice. It was the first day in pads and there were some fun drills for sure. Special Teams was the most fun to watch for some good hitting. TG3 was on the field but not suited up. Whit played the whole time. I had the OL near me for a while and paid special atteby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
He is talking about the normal resting of Whit. When Whit was out last year resting Noteboom took over at LT and had lots of practice with the first team. The biggest news here is that last year Noteboom stepped in at Whit's spot, now he moves to Whit's spot and Demby steps in to Noteboom's spot. The thing that is great about resting the vets is that it gets the young guys good solid first teby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Great point, would every team need to pick up two of those?by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
this one seems to be posted :Pby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh man loving the video interview with Weddle, he is getting me so fired up! What a great signing.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay noticed how the Pats changed up their personnel in the SB. Matthews is there to give different looks come the SB. He is a guy that can show ILB and play outside or shift to safety etc. This is what I believe McVay took from the big game, this is why versatility is so important and why it was mentioned about so many draft picks too.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
A huge change was the updates that Rath brought in. Sad to see him get caught up in bad crap, hoping the systems and trainers in place can continue to thrive without him.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Since the 101 and 162 picks went from Pats to Rams and back to Pats we can remove those picks from the three trades and we are left with this: Rams gave: 45, 133, 167 Pats gave: 56, 97, 134, 243 So if you combine 133 and 134 it is almost a wash. So we move down 11 spots from 45 to 56, then up 70 spots from 167 to 97 and get 243 added in. When looking at it like this, it seems like wby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
was that he said they would have been happy to get Rapp at 31. Also called him one of the best football players in the draft. If it was indeed their pick at 31 if they could not trade down, they did amazing.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Havenstein combine arms 33 3/4 Whitworth 35 Noteboom 34 3/8 Taylor Lewan 33 7/8 Trent Williams 34 1/4 David Bakhtiari 34.08 Seems like the range is mid 33 to mid 34, Whitworth is long, Havenstein is on the shorter end. In general I would think the longer arms would go to LT (thus Noteboom) and shorter RT (thus Hav)by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
yes but we won't do as well as we used to. When you are a bad team and those players have a chance to actually win a position you sign a lot of quality players (Rams of old). Now that we have seriously upgraded our talent, the quantity will keep dropping and it will be a very targeted few that we go after I assume.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Haha you were both right he used to be a TE and then converted to OT seems like a smart player to meby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
We trade up with Pats and grab an OT and next Pats pick is an OT. Then once again we trade up with the Pats and grab a DT and next Pats pick is a DT. Are we outsmarting the Pats or are they playing us? That is the question we will never know. We will know if our players turn out well and that is really what matters, but I love the game of chess in football and we have chosen to play with onby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
We just drafted our NT and guessing that moves Brockers to DTby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we have good people to help with the strength (plus any time it is your full-time job it is amazing how much one can do) and we have the best hands guy in the World in AD, it should do wonders for this kid. Seems to me his weaknesses/ areas needed for improvement are a perfect fit for our strengths as a unit.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
