QuoteSunTzu_vs_Camus what then? Who's gonna be the hot HC to fix this mess in 2yrs? Again, blowing things up is easy....BUILDING teams is HARD and time consuming and hard to judge until the HC gets all his staff, scouts and players in place to run their schemes....giving that there will be mistakes in player personnel along the way as with every team. QuoteLesBaker Alright lets start with HC's who have stability elsewhere want this job. Yeah I can easily call BS on that. No stable HC is going to leave that for the Rams. So there is a ton of talent, but a lot of people don't agree on that, assume it's true. I do. Yeah that makes it an attractive job. And that's why Snead should be retained. Big market means diddly. I hadn't thought of it before, but Stan can't start selling PSLs until the Spanos makes an official decision. And Stan wants to finance as much of his palace with PSL money as possible rather than taking out loans or liquidating something. He wants the cash. Well, one way or another, those PSLs go for sale in January, I believe. Those pictures of a half empty stadium today, along with a coaby Zooey - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax If they fire Fisher now it allows a couple of things... 1. It give them a head start in hiring new people. People will be more inclined to engage with the Rams in discussion about a position. 2. It sends a message to the fans that they are taking action to fix this thing ASAP. I don't know if Kroenke will fire him before the seasons end, but it does have some merit at this poiby Zooey - RamsFootballFans.com
Are you talking about the hierarchy within the Rams, or about life in general? The way Kroenke set up the structure is that Demoff, Snead, and Fisher would all work together to reach consensus on football moves, but if they couldn't agree, then Fisher has the final say. That's not something I inferred. That's simply fact.by Zooey - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotetomatosan Mike and Mike having discussion of how Demoff's dad being Fisher's agent is a conflict of interest. It may be why he is still employed. That makes no sense. Fisher works for Kroenke, not Demoff. And in the power structure, Fisher is a notch above Demoff. If anything, that relationship would protect Demoff rather than the other way around.by Zooey - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax Yup. I think King was lazy there. Take shots at the rookie QB when its a total clown show all around him. Maybe he's getting stuff from someone else and just pasting it in. I know what I saw and it wasn't the same thing that King said. And he's way too easy on Fisher. If anything, he should be saying Fisher may not last until the end of the year. The consensus on the radio was that Harbaugh wore out his welcome. So that is NoCal sports talk hosts, and all the people they interviewed...other journalists, beat writers, etc. Top to bottom, that organization was sick of Harbaugh's act. QuoteGreatRamNTheSky I'm sorry but that argument doesn't wash. Tom Landry for years was known as the coach that could not win in the playoffs and then he did and won a couple Super Bowls. Statistically, the Rams oughta win it all once every 32 years. And just take a look at the list of teams that have never done it. And a list of teams that have never even been to a SB. That said, they have had a long playoff drought. Too long. Against the percentages.by Zooey - RamsFootballFans.com

Thanks. There are a lot of good posters over here, and it's always nice to interact whether on the other board, or here. You left the "g" on "dancing," though. You gotta be consistent on that, or I will think you are just a city slicker who's faking it!by Zooey - RamsFootballFans.com
Their QBs are all better than Davis/Foles/Keenum. I disagree with zn on the depleted roster. It was pretty bad when Fisher came over. A lot of those guys were out of the league when they left the Rams, and the Rams roster has improved to the point that a lot of their ex-players, and even PS players, are picked up by other teams. I don't want him, either, and for the same reason. I actually don't understand this Harbaugh love. The entire board is complaining about a dysfunctional FO right now, and their idea of fixing it is to bring in the King of Dysfunction? It doesn't matter, anyway.
