If they fire Fisher now it allows a couple of things...
1. It give them a head start in hiring new people. People will be more inclined to engage with the Rams in discussion about a position.
2. It sends a message to the fans that they are taking action to fix this thing ASAP.
I don't know if Kroenke will fire him before the seasons end, but it does have some merit at this point.
But this is just my line of reasoning. Just so happens I predicted this thing back in October. Call me crazy but I have a tendency to listen a bit closer to people who get things right over people who consistently get things wrong.
Well, I don't agree. We will see. It's going to be an interesting six weeks or so, either way.
I don't think Fisher is going to get fired before next season, though you won't find my eyes welling up with tears if he does.
