That article say the relationship is toxic and has been for a while. To me, this might explain why Snead and Fisher never even spoke or met together on the show. Not saying this is proof - but it's possible, based on what we now know about their relationship.

Yeah, okay, it's possible. I admit that I could be wrong in my interpretation of the situation. I don't have any inside information, and I am to a fair degree playing devil's advocate. However, I see a lot of people coming to conclusions all over Ramville that are not warranted by the actual evidence we have.
So, I am drawing different conclusions based on what I see, and I am trying to test everybody's arguments to see if they can convince me of something solid. This is one of those aspects of the situation where I have pushed back a bit just to see what someone can actually back up with something convincing. I haven't watched any of the other Hard Knocks, so I have nothing to compare the Rams version to. Okay, fine.
I see an opening there that might be explained by a rift. That would explain it. Makes sense. I don't see that as evidence of a rift, though. And, in fact, I would argue that Snead's presence in some of those scenes would similarly not prove that there ISN'T a rift. Okay? There is no "tell" there.
So I teach people how to argue. That is actually part of my job. And I teach them to distinguish between Claims, Evidence, and Warrants.
In a nutshell, a claim is a proposition, an opinion, an assertion of some kind (e.g. Snead's and Fisher's relationship is toxic). That is a claim. It is not evidence.
Evidence would be something like an eyewitness telling us that Fisher gets tense whenever Snead is in the room, or that Snead was locked out of the war room for a while on Draft Day, or that Snead has been advocating for a new coach, or something. We don't have any of that. There's nothing.
A warrant is a conclusion based on the evidence (e.g. since Fisher prevented Snead from coming into the war room for an hour while he talked with the staff, and because multiple sources confirm the tension in the room when they are together, we can conclude their relationship is toxic).
This entire story is a set of claims based on an extremely thin set of evidence. It doesn't mean those claims are FALSE (Fisher and/or Snead are dysfunctional, and one or both will be fired), but nobody has yet provided any evidence that makes me doubt my own assumption which is (also) based on circumstantial evidence.
