Yep, I would be willing to pay him $42 Million...by kw13 - Game Time Forum
Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe you forgot, Jeff Fisher is the coach.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
He's been perfect all year and missed two from 55? We've got 99 problems a GZ ain't one.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
They were even chanting "Tebow,Tebow". LOL The natives are getring restless.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
However, we ended up downgraded at LB because we had two OLB's causing disruption, now we moved Tree to to the middle and are playing this dumb 4 2 5 defense and getting shredded by the and passes in the middle. Had we kept JL, he could hold down the fort at MLB and allow Tree and Barron to disrupt. Also, at some point you have to have veterans. Fisher's "youngest team in the NFL"by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
So the moral of the story is... another coach could Fisherball his way to the Superbowl if he had Case Keenum. Just not Jeff Fisher.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
It all ties back to Fisher's conservativeness. The game has to go perfect to win. Penalties=loss Turnovers=loss So few scoring opportunities that any mistakes = loss. Topping it off, a Fisher win requires a 100 yard rusher or else = loss.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Fisher is lucky. But even still, what is the best case scenario? Get to 5-5. Then 7-6, then 9-7 and hopefully backdoor a playoff spot? Then what? Do it again next year? I'm just at the point of let's have a fire sale, unless we win 5 games in a row. Not gonna happen.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hindsight, but still seems crazy they took the Marc Bulger/Sam Bradford look-alike, instead of the Ben Rothlisberger type who played under center, given Fisherball. My guess, based on being a Rams fan for 40 years is A&B. A) we whiffed on the pick and the kid is lost. And B) Fisher wouldn't know what to do with a great QB even if he had one. So, 3-4 and almost out of it. Good timeby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I would add to the mess that Fisher doesn't have any veterans. Youngest team in the league for the last 5 years = stupid. That is utterly rediculous to not have veteran leadership. He trades knowledge for youth/speed. One of the things that makes the Patriots great is there consistency. Same core group of leaders for years. They are fine tuning while the Rams try to hike the ballby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
And why Thomas, not Cooper? Agreeed on trying to surprise over substance. That is why Fisher is in love with his trick pony Tavon. So he can come up with a bunch of idiotic plays behind the line of scrimmage for Tavon to get 3 yards. He should have hired a true offensive coordinator and turned ovet the reigns ala Dickie V. And Mike Martz. But instead, Fisher will earn his title asby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
The fact that Fisher is digging in and doubling down on Keenum is a Pathetic. Sad. Embarrasing to us as fans. Fisher's gonna stay the course? Of course he is. He's too dumb and stubborn to do anything but. He clearly never wanted any part of drafting Goff. Snead must have forced his hand. Fisher is a joke. The Rams are a joke.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Prefer East vs. West but the bigger deal is timing. Make it after the SB so SB teams players can go. Then it's sort of an after party for those guys.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm happy if we win 3 games all year, but Gurley stays healthy and we fake a punt successfully. Also I like beards with some grey in them, and raspy voices. Also I like wearing sunglasses and end arounds.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
If you want to argue the comment about Fisher's losing record, just wait 2 weeks.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Water seeks it's own level. At 3-3, we won't look so smart.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
OMG, his voice, he can't raise his voice, is he a smoker..? Wth? Please someone post a picture of Fred Flintstone.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, hopefully Ishtar replaces their star and puts in the rookie or that director is toast. Too many bad flicks in a row.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed on 3rd and short. I want to see this offense opened up, but then they over think themselves. 3rd and 1 is a running down for this team.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Why bother faking the punt when they gave you three downs to get a first down and you threw for 2 yards on first down and ran the ball on 2nd down and then couldn't convert on third down?? Fisher was still trying to establish the run on that last drive.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Red zone= horrible annd what's with the 2LB formation instead of stacking the box? Plan A should have been to stop McCoy. How'd that work Greg Williams? Especially with starting lineman out. What was he thinking?by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I would say worse than Fisher's typical fake punt proving he has not grown one iota in 20 years, was the play calling on that 3 and out. 1st down, fine a blitz coming, hot read to Gurley. But then a run for 2 yards on 2nd down creating a 3rd and long?? Yes, with 3.5 minutes you can still mix in a run or two, but I swear Fisher is still trying to establish the run and get into manageableby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, 100%. Aaron Donald is a luxury. We were a very similar defense before Donald, with Langford at DT. Yes, he's a beast, but DT is a way less impactfull position to a team than a top 5 WR. Yes, they have to double team Donald, so there is a domino effect if he's gone, but it's a no brainer for me.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Simple. They need to play Cunningham more. And we'll see if it's Gurley or the O'line, or both. I've been hesitant in today's NFL to put too much stock in a RB, but since Fisher's system requires a top 10 back to be successful, I was glad we got him. Fisher may Fisherball his way to some 7-9 bulls$#! If he continues to waste first down trying to establish the run.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I completely disagree with this topic on Brian Quick. The guy is a stud. The only issue he ever had was that Fisher wouldn't play him, and Fisher doesn't know how to use different receivers. He fired Givens because he said he was redundant due to having Tavon. Well, Tavon is quick but is not fast, does not get separation on deep passes. Givens did. Not redundant. Fisher tries to fit everyby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
He caught that pass, ran through the tunnel, and was never seen again!by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Apprently the sophomore slump has a lot to do with teams starting to stack the box,but I looked up ED and AP and they had very strong second years. So maybe Gurley is not a once in a generation RB, rather just a top tier RB in this league. If just top tier, then the Rams need to build an offense that includes him, but doesn't rely on him. Problem is, if teams have been stacking the box to stby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams run the most boring, predictable offense in the NFL. If that boring, low productive offense is also "complicated to learn" then someone needs to be fired and that system needs to go.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Get tired of all the "well I'm sure the team with all their scouts and years of experience know what they are doing way more than us armchair QB's". Ummm, no. They can be idiots too.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Clemens, Keenum, Cleelum, whatever. Same guy.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
