Kupps hamstring was mysterious because after more than half a year of rest, he is seeing specialists to find out why he has a re-occuring hamstring issue, then gets put on IR. I didn't mean mysterious as in "was it something else". I just mean everyone was expecting Kupp to be healthy after McVay wrote off the prior season and told his top 3 players to take the rest of the year off,by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com

I don't even know his numbers. I know he had a big game against the saints and I think the Commanders. But he had a full season off, shutting down half way through the prior season. Then come go time, he goes on IR with a mysterious hamstring injury. To me the bigger concern was him and Stafford are not in sync because he has lost a step. There is no reason the Rams met with Odunze and possibly made an offer on Mike Evans. Their interest in these two means they do not have faith on Kupp, or they have been informed by Kupp that he may not be good to go and/or could retire. How is Puka and Coopers career going vs. John Ross? I think the 40 time needs to be ignored. You watch a guy on film. Maybe if two guys are equal, their vertical jump could be something to measure, but all those stats at the combine are a waste of time. Can you play? We all know offensive lines need to gel. I wish the rams would have signed one of these guys at least and let the other hit the market. At least guaranteeing some continuity. I get the gamble. And I get that it may not even be in the cards to pay a guard $15+ Million. But on the flip side, there are consequences. Stafford may only have one more good year left. Never heard of him. From the article photo I noticed he is white and plays CB, so I was intrigued. Watched his Iowa highlights. He's no shutdown corner, but looks solid. I like that he can return punts as well, we could use an upgrade over Trammel who, I believe is told to fair catch every time. That is a weakness. The only thing I like about Trammel is he is pretty solid at not fumbling and making fair catches. But our special teams felt like a weakness, not a strength. Also, don't we still need a FG kicker???by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com

I wish the Rams blitzed more, and/or send a safety/CB in with some LB dropping into coverage. I get that you need a little better talent given you are relying on some 1:1 coverages. However, I also am not a fan of blitzing on 3rd and short. The play call is almost always a quick slant and your guy is not going to get there, you are just giving him one less man in coverage. Yeah, they'll have some decisions to make. I was reading Chase Young and Aiyuk, if signed, will need to be long term, back loaded. So they'll probably get crafty to keep it mostly together for a couple years. So they may only have one or 2 more years in their window.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
