This is so funny to me...celebrating how physical the Rams are when last week everyone complained the team is soft. Recency bias...bad perception. The Rams have several tough men. Sometimes schemes make a team look tougher or softer than they are. And some players aren't as tough and those holes can be assigned to the entire team?by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com

When one team gets away with blatant holds while the other gets flagged for the ticky tack is lose it. When DB's get to hand fight 20 and 30 yards downfield, I lose it. When normally sure handed receivers drop passes, I lose it. When a DB gives up 15 yards cushion on third and 7 and the whole stadium can tell what's next, I lose it. Their reward? New Orleans will face the Rams if they win their game and the 9ers lose. Do we really want to face that defense? At least our defense should feast v NO.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope the interview him after the game when their season is over. The real reason they've won is because they treated games against the Rams as their Super Bowl. Shanny builds his team to beat the most dangerous opponent. The "all hands on deck"/fight or flight mentality is there for the underdog team. It's the same as the Fisher Rams being unable to play well most of the season butby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit It's not just this pick 6 in isolation, Leo; it's all of them in the aggregate. Shannon Sharpe said that if a QB throws a pick 6 in a playoff game, that QB's team is probably going home. The turnovers inside our own 20 have to be gone; there are no more turnovers inside our own 20 this season. The aggregate? 569 passes, 383 completions, 38 TD's, 15 interceptions. Does anyone remember how DWill had the pick 6 in Seattle for the playoff win? Just can't trust that awful QB Russell Wilson In the playoffs. Dude couldn't complete a simple screen pass to the flat. Such a statement is no different than the idiot lunacy we hear about this play meaning Stafford can't be trusted. QB's have to throw with anticipation and trust the receivers to do what is expected.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
The missing upside is that when Sean brings in new talent (Staley) he learns what to incorporate from their experience to improve the team. Fresh ideas (Carberry, Henderson) are a good thing. Furthermore, McVay's track record w assistants makes it easier for him to pluck the best talent available. Quotemax Next, we finish off Ravens, Then we close regular season by finishing off Niners. We finished off the Seahawks too. Love it! The relevance here is that a Vikings loss the the Packers ends our chance for a bye. If the Vikings lost, we'd still have a chanceby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
The good news is that he fights and adjusts through the game. The bad news is that the team doesn't consistently perform well in the first half of most games. I said before the season began that Stafford would expand the offense but at the expense of more turnovers. But hey, go big or go home. When we need him, he may not be perfect but he won't wilt. That's as much as I would hope for any QB. Noby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreat Bordeni You'll be happy to know that our Rams win the Super Bowl next February over the Buffalo Bills. Any questions fire away. Please send screenshot of your wagers to that effect. Thanksby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember that game because I was in college and working at The Old Spaghetti Factory and saw that play on the bar TV. I believed we were going all the way that year. But hey, I felt that way many, many years and was always wrong until 99.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
I appreciate that someone else notices this factor. The problem is that you can't manufacture fight or flight instincts on demand. When the Rams were thrashed by the 9'ers, they were a losing team who felt like that game was as close to a Super Bowl as they would get this year. The Titans lost their identity when Henry went down and everyone on the team knew they had to respond. Years ago, when Iby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
While Greg Zuerlein missed 5 FG and 3 XP so far this year. If someone had told me two years ago I'd prefer Gay over the Leg, I wouldn't have believed it.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com

Once again, they didn't move the ball on the first drive. But after that...MONEY! Cold hard cash. Great gameby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Who you got? Of course AD, Kupp, Stafford were exceptional. But the players I really began to appreciate: Greg freaking Gains! He has elevated his play and his confidence is obviously blown up! DWill back to his 2020 form. Shelton? I still wish we got Creed H but who would've thought the offense would get even better after Allen went down? E Jones is gonna be in the Pro Bowl oneby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
That was the most enjoyable win since the NFC Championship game v the Saints. They became more than their collection of talent today. Now I worry about a let down against the Seahawks. But if they can sustain this intensity....oooohh baby!!!!by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
We've seen it so many times...we think other teams are short handed but they rise up and beat the Rams anyway. In the first half of the Cards game, the Rams know they are playing without half their starters and everyone steps up and play to their potential for the first time in many weeks. What this teaches us is that football is a game of brains and brawn, but above else, it's a game of passiby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemoklerman So, what's your point? You think McVay should just keep doing what he's been doing? How's that been looking lately? Has the offense ever approached what it was with Gurley? Do you think they have a RB to replace Gurley? Do you think they run it enough? Someone doesn't have to be an NFL coach to know when something isn't working. I'm not saying McVay is perfect. I am sayingby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
The only caveat I have about this analysis is the omission of losing Robert Woods for the season. Few seem to recognize how much of the Rams offense is held together by his performance. Beckham may have talent but Woody's grasp of the offense is irreplaceable. I expect it to take quite awhile to see what this offense can be without him. With that said, they are correct...this game is too closeby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
I expect them to play to their abilities and not beat themselves. If they still lose, I will admit they just don't have IT. It was obvious last year the Rams were too limited to ultimately succeed. This year...the potential truly exists, but it hasn't shown up consistently during any game save the Bucs. If that's too much to expect, then I'm guilty as charged.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
While a successful trick play would be nice, I'm more focused on the Rams not beating themselves with turnovers, penalties, blown assignments, drops, and missed tackles.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow!!! This article is written by someone SOOOO much smarter than McVay and Morris!!! The Rams should really hire him to realign the team based on his extensive knowledge of the game and how this team and scheme has been constructed. Here, I thought this was a complicated game with lots of moving parts and many of them are outside the coach's control. Obviously, I was wrong. It's really just as sby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
I wish it worked out for him in Horns. He does affect the game stretching the field. Too bad he couldn't just be part of the team rather than demanding to be the focus. Time will tell if Sean should've integrated him more. It's not like the offense got better when he left. Perhaps Beckham will be better.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemoklerman QuoteLeoram Quotemoklerman The whole point of acquiring Stafford was that the Rams were going to (finally) provide him with the threat of a running game and provide him a good team where he wasn't forced to play hero ball and throw it 50+ times per game. The Packers blocking techniques are generally considered holding by most standards but they've been getting away with it for so long that it just doesn't get called. This is why I doubt the OL injuries will affect them much. However, AD is used to it and knows how to beat it anyways. Frankly, if the refs actually called holding the way they are supposed to, the Pack would be a bottom tier offenseby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com

It's funny to me that McVay, Stafford, and O'Connell all said next to nothing about the running game. It's even more perplexing that nobody from the media addressed the issue at all. I believe (more hope than anything) the Rams intend to focus on running the ball. Perhaps they're playing possum.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
HOF? I believe so. Other than AD, he's the best player on the team IMO. Kupp and Ramsey are building good resumes as well. Stafford will have to finish strong to have a shot. Miller is a lock but essentially as a Bronco. Would love to have him as a coach but I doubt he goes that directionby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
