Wow!!! This article is written by someone SOOOO much smarter than McVay and Morris!!! The Rams should really hire him to realign the team based on his extensive knowledge of the game and how this team and scheme has been constructed. Here, I thought this was a complicated game with lots of moving parts and many of them are outside the coach's control. Obviously, I was wrong. It's really just as simple as this guy makes it out to be. All they have to do is revert to the short game like they did the last two years that were sooooo successful! Who knew? He should run more 12 personnel because the second tight end would be so much more effective than our third best receiver. They ought to base the offense around a guy who hasn't stayed healthy throughout ANY NFL season. But he won't do that because he's just stubborn. Oh, I forgot how great Staley's defense looks in Charger country...if only that genius were still here. *Sigh* I agree, McVay's hubris and inability to adapt is the real problem...verbose fans who never coached an NFL team have no hubris themselves.
