QuoteRamsFootballFans.com Quotezn And if as I said his play on the field is the result of a solid player being maximized by a top coach---then no he is not unexpendable. Kromer can find another guy who like Hav is solid, smart, and coachable---and is NOT inherently a top talent If you can find another guy (which is relatively much easier at ROT) then why give a big contract to THIS particularby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam ROTs don't grow on trees; it's been noted for a couple of years that ROTs are just a half step behind LOTs in importance because this has turned into a passing league. And because great pass rushers don't just hang out on the offensive left side (Khalil Mack comes to mind) to go against your LOT. You can't just shove anybody in there and coach them up. I don't know if you're saying nonsense, he IS a system OT (and I would disagree with that) or if you're saying it's nonsense to say he is a system OT (and no one said he was) Hav is a solid linemen, with smarts and a great mindset, who does not have the talent of a top OT, but is playing well on a well-coached line. The issue then is, does that make him irreplaceable? I argue that no, tby zn - RamsFootballFans.com

Different OL coaches approach the entire array of OL responsibilities differently, and emphasize different things, and all of that blends with different overall offensive attacks. Otherwise OL coaches don't make any difference and you might as well get Joe Schmoe and not Aaron Kromer. ....by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
They' re not right about everything. So there's always a gray area open for discussion. Since it is relatively easy to replace ROTs, and since the play of Blythe and Hav demonstrates pretty clearly that Kromer can coach a good OL synergy out of players who are not on paper top notch, then---it's a fair question. Good ROTs are easier to find than most, Kromer knows how to maximize guys, sby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, except...he just isn't. A top OT. He is playing in a good scheme which is maximizing him. There's excellent unit synergy and these guys understand what Kromer is teaching them as players and as unit. But given that Hav just does not have the physical talent you expect to find in a true top OT.. Not that he's a bum. And I personally like the guy. QuoteSaguaro I enjoyed that game so much. And I got caught up in all the accolades and the weekly awards and the highlights, with Goff getting so much deserved credit for those throws.
