This guy says our 2 rookie O lineman need to lift.....lol, well, what does he know! Maybe he does know. From "69Ramfan" Hi RAM Nation…. It was a nice warm day about 88degrees… had a nice little breeze today… Met up with BubbaRamfan with his buddy and also with PhoenixRising from RFU….. I was paying more attention to the O-line…. The ones O vs the twos D, then vice versa fby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I keep hearing good things about Notebloom; I will believe it when I see it. He all of a sudden has strength? Am I getting all 'hammer' on ya? LOL, I hope Notebloom works out!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Winning was something the Raiders seemed like they were going to start doing a lot more of in 2016 before it all came crashing back down last season. The key to both their winning and losing ways was, not surprisingly, quarterback Derek Carr. Carr put the team on his back in 2016 – his first as an NFL player with the same offensive coordinator two years in a row – and led them to 12 wins, manyby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
It would blow me away if Notebloom is a starting guard in the NFL. Looking at tape, he barely can contain a 270lb DE in college, nevertheless a 300+ DT in the NFL. Love all his other aspects, but intensity and strength weren't good. I am cheering him on because if he makes it at guard, this will be a great training ground for him. I wonder if the Rams are doing this on purprose---to toughby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Actually, I was thinking the same thing on the Eagles. Part of my throught process was on their WRs.....they will drop off there. Wentz 'was' the MVP last year, but I think he won't be quite as good, kinda like K Warner 2002. Their pass rush will drop a bit. Foles, lol, will return to Folesville if Wentz isn't ready.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
The TE notes from you and from others give me that "hammer" negative feeling---arghhh. I think that Everett will make plays because the defense has so much to worry about. I hope he becomes a red zone threat.... I hope the other 2 can block well enough. I still have a 'bad' feeling about dream team stuff.....Talib and Suh are focused and smart guys, so they will not be knucklehby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Blythe may have done ok last year at center, but he doesn't have the sand in the bucket to make a game at guard. Just opinion....by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
ONe more thing: Terry Bradshaw during a 1988 Lions-49ers games said MOntana wasa 'body' thrower, while Young was a 'wrist' thrower. He said MOntana tried to imitate YOung, but he only threw ducks trying to imitate his motion. I still believe Bradshaw had more throwing and running skills than anyone except maybe A Rogers.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
100 agree. Brees has almost everything. He is great at higher level, at a later age than Manning. He is an all-timer for a reason! But, the Rams do have his number!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
LOL, 60'6" from pitcher's mound, not 90? LOLby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
AD might be the best D lineman in the last 40 years (haven't studied Watt)--no one else is close. If AD is a 10, Warren Sapp might be an 8.5 at best, and he is a HOFer. And, we all want what is 'due'. What is Donald due? I am convinced that no one knows, not even AD. When we look back we will know. I think $23 is more than fair; if AD wants $25 because he wants QB range, then I have to wonderby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I dig what you wrote. A lot! Brees has such big hands. I am impressed by his accuracy, and consistency, but in my book he can't "zing" it....So, he isn't special as a thrower to me...but I am probably wrong.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Wristy is 'his' thing because he can. Meaning he has the talent and coordination to repeat perfectly everytime. I used to do this in baseball, and from the outfield it is ok, but I couldn't reproduce the accuracy from 90 feet when I pitched...so, I was relegated to RF, lol. Yes, \Goff snaps, or whips it. Very few people can get a way with this on even 5 throws in a game, nevertheless the entireby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Also, if looks like Goff is a bit 'wristy'. WHich is ok when you can repeat it every time (few can, so few do it). He is very wristy, and I think that is where a lot of his velocity comes from. It is like a golfer with a bent arm; it is bad because you can't repeat it--but,it gives you more power than a straight arm a straight elbow has a repeating stroke, though; and so no pro goes flippy orby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I would measure arm strength on velocity without stepping up (or, throwing off of back foot). Goff dosn't have that 'kind' of strength...so, he can whip it and have perfect accuracy, and that type of arm is valuable on all the mid range patterns..not many can.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff some day will be known as Kurt Warner accurate; and actually, he is more accurate, now than Warner was at this age....of course, reps take a while to build.---. Not easy to say I know; and, on that note Gurley will not be in HOF...again opinion. I still like Sammy B's and Aaron Rogers are on my all time favorite arms....but Goff will catch up some decade. Also, I think that Bradford isby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
"Maurice Alexander got a few reps during early work with the starting unit alongside Bradley McDougald but is still two days away from being able to do 11-on-11 work. Once the team gets a good feel out of what it has in Alexander, the safety picture will start to become a little clearer." Always liked him, until 2017, that is.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
This is a "thanks" to all you guys who post great stuff from other sources.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I was able to attend the first day of camp yesterday. Obviously first day was a lot of drills. No Pads today. There was a 11 on 11 at the end of practice. Here are a few of my takes. 1st- Special teams. Greg the Leg was kicking with power. Rams started off practicing new kickoff rules. Z was looked comfortable. No sight of back issues. He then started practicing field goals. He hit a few fromby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
This is from Elvis, and I am not Elvis: And we're back! Crazy crowded today, maybe most crowded camp day ever. Gareth and Kayfabe came too (fellow ST holders). Gareth has been to one camp before, the Chargers scrimmage which was pretty packed itself but Gareth thought today had more people. I also ran in to @Ramsfan1971 and his wife, so pretty great day. They had a sort of rally firstby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. I do watch 5-8 games a week---but only while I workout. No way I sit there, doing nothing, to watch.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
PUtting him at guard will also toughen him up.....It was said Ogden benefitted from it.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Good thing Al Davis is gone from the league....he would force AD like he did M Allen...ok, maybe not.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't say Todd is a 1st ballot HOFer. But, for all he offers,I prefer him to Faulk.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I can agree with your list, too. Bettis, lol, I forgot. But, 1 great year, 1 good year; couldn't catch the ball so well, not picking up blitzes etc.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
SO, now I rank my all time best Rams RBs (not final career numbers) 1. Dickerson 2. Gurley 3. Faulk 4. S. Jackson 5. Tyler 6. McCutcheon 7. The Bass (ok, I never saw him) 8. Greg Bell 9. Yes, Lawrence P! 101. June Henley Yes, I know all about Marshall....I will take Gurley every time.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Seattle also has been drafting 3-4th rounders in the 1st-2nd rounds (Carpenter (the guard), their current RT and center, I believe and others). I think they drafted very bad on the O line. Wasn't it Lee Saban who siad "huh" on Carpenter....because he was soooo avg.... I hope Rams go LT or CB in first round next year, unless they trade a #1 and Cooks for Beckham, lol.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I always thought he was too good to be true. He won't be a a 20+ year coach......noooooo way. Like Vermeil, but a lot smarter.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Surprisingly, She "looks" stable to me...really...but then, what do I know.lol, oh what fools we are....by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
