AD might end up being one of the greatest Rams of all times--probably not, but he is on teh path. How sad that the Rams are floating 'extra' money to Cooks and Gurley ('extra' compared to what many thought have happened back in Februar)....and AD ain't be gettin' anything..ya, I know he is offered contracts commesurate (sp?) with his perceived value. AD's situation may be wierder than Leroyby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with all you wrote. however, Antonio Brown is the best WR to ever play the game in my opinion. Jerry Rice had very, very few cbs with the size, speed technique etc that Brown faces.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks a lot for upping this! Brockers: In 5 years, I might say he is my favorite Ram from 2002-2022....ya, even if Goff wins the super bowl smart guy; Goff: Better speech patterns...much better. In 2 years, he is the next NFL marketing hero How do those calves and arms work in the NFL? A: It is all in the wrist, baby :) Again I will say: Goff is way better than Brady or Brees at thisby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Huh, I can do the same thing...and from games 40 years ago.....as can everyone on this board, lol!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Happy he is gone. Good player, never great.Zone stud, and smart and great on the 9's!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
To me, the 1983-1990 era is much, much better than 1970-1978 football. Athletes didn't have much explosion. But, boy, the Rams were great.Youngblood knew more about technique than any DE of that era. So smartby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Wade, as a DC for the Eagles in 1988, put Reggie White on the nose when teams (see Redskins Wk 3) when teams gashed them up the middle. And, it immediately stopped the up the gut runs; of course, Reggie also got great pressure up the middle in his pass rush too. Suh on the nose, like Reggie, will help our run D tremendously.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
What did he say about Goff? This guy wants hits....knows some things, but not many--especially about NFL. But, Cooks is working against 2 good jam corners....so, maybe Cooks will be ok ...lol Lombardi has a job, still?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
THink about: Only injuries... McVay and Snead think 12-16 hours a day about everything. Fish, maybe around 1 hour, and then some golf.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I would say: 1.Bell 2.Gurley 3.Johnson, D 4.Elliot Though Johnson's health must maintain. Elliot with a superior line (a Dickerson-like O line) is still not that good.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay and McVay. Snead ain't far behind...and then Donald, Goff and Gurley and Kupp.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

Thanks LMU......by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I do agree he is worth 2 pro bowl players...which would be 22-25 million right? But, there has to be a limit. HE isn't as valuable as Goff to the team, and we have a sallary cap. sumtin' gotta give. Would have rather have 40 million (after tax) in the bank and a super bowl victory, or 65 million in the bank and no super bowl? I'll take the super bowl, and so would most. AD can't see that nby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't believe he takes care of himself and he isn't a student of the game. I can't prove it, but I believe is "Fun" time away from football is more important than the game. He never seems prepared, can't judge a deep ball, and doesn't appear to work well with teammates. Many of us surmise, correctly, what reporters will never say. I don't know that much about Sammy, but I think youby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Awesome story, thanks for sharing. I have never ever liked Reid, maybe I need to rethink that, lolby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I have watched a few 2001 games recently---and I had always thought they were the best offense ever. However, they couldn't run the ball consistently, not counting draws, almost ever (excepting NFCC games). Ya, Faulk was great, but the interior 3 couldn't get the job done most of the time---game after game you find this forced Warner-Martz into short passes (see the end of the year when Warner gby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Greg had a top 4-5 year in NFL kicking history. (one of his two misses was a 63 yarder)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I was thinking the same. Tom Newberry replaced Kent Hill rather nicely. Pankey didn't mention Kent Hill in his interview....I was surprised. Still think he had 5 incredible years.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I still think it is an indictment of Everett. Weren't the Rams #2 if offense that year?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Take away Leroy and Jerry Gray, and we don't crack the top 27 in 1988-89....opinion, mates. Our LBs were super smart.......watching some 1988, and Kevin Greene didn't start as of week 3 (Mel Owens). We were slow and tough. Vince Newsome was an underrated player.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Britt and Company:How do you win even 6-7 games with them?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Pankey said Rick Bryan (and added in Fred Dean) was the hardest. He forgot Manley and Swilling... lol GREAT, GREAT interview with a lot of depth to it....THANKS for putting it up! He played 13 years--that is amazing. He pulled well, too.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
As much as I doubt Everett's toughness the phantom sack has been taken by many, many QBs----marino and a few others in 1986-87...regarding EVerett's dive: why go the 'one more stupid play route'?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I knew I loved Pankey for a reason....confirmation on Everett's toughness??? IDK...just asking. Man, I am shocked this is his answer. By the way, Pankey never made a pro bowl, but he is right there in pro bowl talent.! THe more I watch those 80s games the more I am shocked at how really good he was....though he weas owned by some guys (Saints boy, and Manley a bit)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought there was a reason all that talent wasn't producing more....too much jazz for that boy.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree on the rarity of rookie pass rushers doing much. Obo at 240 lbs (max, I think) will have a hard time.....but, he does have 2 pro bowlers pushing the pocket up the middle....so, he can pick up some easy sacks. Obo probably won't do much on his own, this year.... I still say Pat Swilling and Ricky Jackson are the goal for those guys......small chance, right...but then the 1999 rams weby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Sam will have a nice first 3 games....and then we will see the real Watkins and (Mahommes)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
