WOW, love to see the sack totals! Thanksby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Dennish Harrah played 4-5 games with the same injury as Youngblood (and in 1979 I think)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
It was an awesome game....and Warner at the end was great. But, the whole first half didn't look like the Rams, and it wasn't the Eagles v good D. Of course, imo....by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
If you watch that game (2001 Wk 1) you will recognize how out of sync and rusty they were...and that was a very experienced offense....so, I only see many bad things happening if we rest 'as much' as Martz did with those guys. Big mistake....but, then McVay is the best coach in the NFL right now---yep, THE best.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
"Losing Your Season”= 12-4 becomes 5-11---and that is what will happen with Mannion at QB. Dreadful is as dreadful playsby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Our 2nd string line was all 3rd string level in teh NFL, except J Brown....so, who cares. Expected that with those 2 at tackle....and Neary??? COme on those guys wouldn't even make many rosters. I do think McVay held the 3 rookies from playing against the Ravens 1st stringers---played them against their 2nd stringers.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
ALYO, YOu were right about Cam. I would take Goff over Newton any day. His WR would know better than us---K Benjamin said he: "would have been better off the first 3½ years of his career had he been with a quarterback with better accuracy and "knowledge" of the game than Newton. Cam Newton won't be winning a superbowl, until the Panthers have a 1985 Bears defense. Camby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Did Lawler, or Notebloom/Demby/Allen look good?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Me watch game, me watch London, me happyby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
"He is going to be irrelevant once the Rams start playing, the D stuffs opponents, the Rams O scores points by the bucketful, and they are moving towards the Superbowl." Maybe a 40-60% chance of happening--and yes, then they won't need AD, just like the 1985 Bears didn't need Todd Bell and Al Harris...and their replacements made the probowl, lol (Marshall and Duerson). I kinda hopby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Bruce will make it for sure....some day...It took Youngblood 15-16 years or so....and he had 150+ sacks (yes, they were counted by the coaches--and every year they listed them in the yearly previews). Ellard didn't beat a lot of guys in man on man coverage.....I am watching the 1988 seaon and watched every game from 1098-1986...and most in 1987. Ellard's post Ram career was pretty amazinby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
London Fletcher and Ed Too Tall Jones...guys with 17+ years of near pro bowl talent every year, and never miss a game That is HOF for me. I don't need a stupid sportswriter to tell me that.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Like Bo, HItler seems to know! that was very, very good. In 2019 we may still be watching that vid!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
You wrote: "In a 3-4 scheme a killer OLB will affect the game more than a killer DT" I agree with all you wrote, except this. He is double teamed more consistently than any DE, I would think. (Maybe I am wrong). So, tying up 2 blockers is very, very valuable...especially with someone like Suh next to him However, with all of that we might may win a super bowl without him. But, heby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Sweet news. thanks for that info. I wonder how Mr Suh did against his fav guard.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com

i want M Thomas to shine over Reynolds or Cooperby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
WRs are impressive. I want Mike Thomas to shine this year.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
PM me if you want them. I would love to put the link up, but I was told I can't because it is from another Rams site. There are about 42 videos of "day 6" with 1-3 plays on each vid. Some of it is great, some boring. I think you will like it.It is a bit off the field, so you see the plays pretty well, but not always, and he doesn't show the WRs down the field so well.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
From Elvis: Today was the coolest day at practice so far, low 80's, haze, breeze, can't vouch for on the field but it was nice in the stands. Another big day for the offense, scored a lot of touchdowns today. Mannion and the 2's moved the ball pretty well against the 1st string defense too. I watched a lot of Oline work today. The offense came out and ran some plays against themselvesby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
WOW, McVay finds gems; a gem knows a gem. What a 180 we are undergoing. It is kind of wierd that Greg the leg went from a good kicker to THE BEST kicker in one year....maybe McVay fished him out of murky waters. McVay=the anti-Fishby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
re: Marcus Peters: I didn't "get" what was so special about this at all--or what he said that was great. This interview does nothing to dispel the probability of his leaving the Rams in the exact same way he left the Chiefs. Doesn't mean he won't mature. He is a great player, and the great teams have to 'manage' guys like him. Talib, even if doesn't play well this year, may be worby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay probably has near the IQ Martz has, but the real difference is in motivating, planning and being real with players--which allows players to trust; I don't know if Martz was trusted by the non-Faulk types; I think in 2002 it was starting to 'wear' off. And I remember reading a lot of locker room stuff in 2003 regarding players and faith talk etec.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Elvis at camp--his notes: Wow, i took a lot of pictures today but a few of them are pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised to see them in pads yet again, that's 4 straight practices (though Tuesday was a day off). Hung out with HopHead, bubba and Vet today, mostly with HopHead, maybe he'll chime in with a few thoughts of his own. It's still amazing how far we've come in such a shortby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks to Bubba! Screw sorting the notes. I'm tired and want to get this out, so it willbe kind of a jumble, but I'll get it all out. Upper 80's and humid team came out late, McVay didn't come out until 3:15. and team stretched, warmed up. OL on field one N end, DL So end. We are on field 2 where Fassell is working ST. They use a jugs machine to punt to Cooper,# 11 Hodge, 15 Kendal Thompsonby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I have been re-watching 2017: and the Sammy's talent vs production sticks out like a sore thumb. Not in the right place in the right time many times.....didn't look in sync. Maybe cooks quick feet are better than all the power, and long speed Sammy has.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff is the aniti-McNabbby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, I mean beautiful. Push off, I am not sure he got any force into that push off I have waited my whole life for the Rams to run that pattern......maybe Bruce ran it a few times and we scored, but that is it, I think.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, Talib is 32, so he might not make the entire 16 game schedule....I think Shields will play some this year, and might be our starting CB next year. Back pedal tells a lot....and he is rust and has the best back pedal. If oour ROLB can get some good rushes, we can be a top 5 Defense. How many times have we all said Top 5 defense since training camp 2013. Jo Lonn DUnbar, ring a bell, loby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
