Since it sounds too close to "Commander Cody Carlson" I suggest a new Berman nickname--Carson "this trade makes no" Wentz.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
I know that he will probably be gone when we draft, and that the Rams never seem to draft linebackers, but my wish list this draft is Leo Chenal.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe so. I was always surprised under Fisher that they would kind of alternate between guys like Robinson (a pick I hated from the jump) to guys like Havenstein (who I think they over drafted a bit, but also was pretty sure he would be a starting RT for a long time in the league). It's always hard to criticize any draft when you get Aaron Donald, but I was a bit surprised that they liked Robinby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, the Bobby Wagner trade down was an pretty big error. I never understood how they didn't have Lavonte David next on their board after Wagner and Kendricks were gone. We will also never know the effect of Jeff Fisher on those picks in the early years of Les Snead. I was always pretty sure that Greg Robinson was going to be Jason Smith 2.0 and he was, but I think Les has grown in a lot of wby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com

I think that Shanahan is a really good OC and devises some great stuff, but when we had the choice of the two (Shanahan and McVay) after the 2016 season, I was all in on McVay). I actually brought up McVay's name on the old STL Rams board in the summer of 2016 as a guy I would seriously look at after it was clear that Jeff Fisher needed to go. The reason was two-fold. Was reading Jourdan's quick wrap up from the post-game party where Michael Brockers was there hanging out with Aaron Donald. You always feel particularly bad for a player or two who missed out on being a part of a championship team but have given so much in the past. The guy I feel worst for is Brockers.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRAMbunctious The play before the first holding call against Kupp where Henderson was mugged throughout his entire route. That looked worse to me than the one on Kupp and should have been called, but wasn't. THIS. It was a clear penalty on 2nd down that the refs either missed or just didn't call. The Kevin Seifert piece on ESPN specifically mentions this non-call as a blown one. Theby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com

If the Rams had played a clean game, they win by 10+. 49ers fans can whine all day about Tartt not making the play on the potential interception, the Rams had shots at three they didn't get, a tipped ball interception that cost at least three points, two dropped TD passes on the same drive that not only took 7 off the board but led to the missed 54 yard FG and the field position that went into tby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
I never post, but after all the whining about the new uniforms when they came out, and after some time I actually think they look phenomenal--especially the combo they wore tonight. Hopefully, a Super Bowl-winning uniform!by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Anybody else think that a key to this game is to force Jimmy Garoppolo away from his first read and more specifically away from reads in between the hash marks? It seems like most of his inexplicably bad throws are to the outside and often while he's moving that way. Yes, we need to stop the run--but we also need to stop making Garoppolo look like Tom Brady. 1) Losing the Super Bowl in 2001. It's a loss that has stayed with me the longest and most intensely, as it took the perfect storm of bad things to allow it to happen. 1) The Rams taking the Patriots lightly, 2) having the extra week of prep time eliminated due to 9-11 (with the week, the Rams would have come out in a two -minute hurry up and the Patriots would have had no chance), and 3) the rby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that they all pretty have severe recency bias with no actual understanding of why things were different. Rams make the Super Bowl run and the offensive line is pretty good. Everybody thinks Sullivan is pretty much done and as much as we would love to resign Saffold, most know it's not happening. Hey, the line should be pretty good! Was just looking at something else and had to laugh a bit about the 2016 draft, and the teams looking to draft stud, #1 receivers. Teams took (and received all kinds of kudos for drafting) Corey Coleman, Will Fuller, Josh Doctson and Laquon Treadwell in the 1st round. Three of them are outright awful and one makes a good #2 when he is (rarely) healthy. Meanwhile the Saints grab Michael Thomasby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotespagsbacker not sure why you think there is ulterior motive. Ravens let the draft come to them. They clearly needed a LB and instead of panicking and moving up to get Queen, they let him drop to them. The rest of their draft feels as if they just take BPA. They don't draft for need. They take a wide range of positions and players and after the draft they have become an organically deeper teaby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone notice that in nearly every draft, the Ravens seem to draft in lockstep with Kiper's list? He always raves about them after the fact for essentially having the same opinion as he does. He lives in Baltimore and I know there were teams who used to pay for his services (although no one would probably admit it). So my question is do you think Kiper's analysis informs some of the Raven's drby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemerlin He's very physical. Not to say that Dobbins isn't, but he's not in Akers' category IMO. It's like Hendy, where he is more than willing to stick his head in there and get a couple tough yards but he's not the ideal guy to do that. Akers is the ideal guy to get tough yards for this offense because he can do the other things they want too. I mean you line some guys up on 3rd and 1,by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Not a doubt in my mind. A 4 year high school QB that was as good a passer as he was is going to be used at times by McVay as an RPO QB for a change-up, and in Wildcat formations that are just murder to defend near the goal line. Similar to the way Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson are used. He is going to be a swiss army knife weapon along the lines of Hill on the Saints. McVby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJYB “But I think Sean’s mentioned it, we’ve been drafting young players for the last two, three years." Yes, but they've been mid round selections for the most part. But the next question (that is really a rhetorical question) is.... with Rogers mentor Love? H-e-double sticks no! QuoteBigGame81 Either Pittman or Mims. Just a hunch... The only guy who has Pittman rated high enough to trade up for is Kiper. Historically, when he is high on a player that not everyone else is, that player drops.
