Quotespagsbacker He failed with Fisher because Fisher sucked, now he is succeeding with Mcvay because Mcvay is awesome. Snead is just along for the ride. He is bold in terms of moving around in the draft, I think he is clueless as an evaluator of talent. go rams. He and his staff are actually pretty good talent evaluators. Quotedzrams QuoteRockRam • Wide receiver Sammy Watkins to Kansas City for three years and $16 million a year. The Rams, as it turned out, got one season and 39 catches out of this former first-round receiver for the Bills. Watkins, at 24, is on his third team. That’s never good. Kansas City's Brett Veach is a smart young GM, smarter than I am, obviously. Because I would never have paid a guy withby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePHDram I was wondering about that. You can buy low on prior right now. I wonder what his issue in Washington was? It was hard to tell, but he just never looked to be on the same page with anybody in DC. Blown routes, lots of drops--just a disaster. I like the low risk/high reward possibility but the big red flag is that (supposedly) all his teammates in Cleveland hated him.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePHDram i just dont see the rams spending big on 2 ilb. Maybe one, but I think it's nearly a 100% certainty that pick number 23 (if they don't trade down) will be a rush LB.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan Is he the diamond in the rough that NOBODY talks about? IMHO......If Josh Reynolds is ready to "step up" and be the #1 outside WR (With McVay knowing he is ready).....Rams are good at WR. Somone else wondered about Willie Snead on the list of WR FA possibilities. Pharaoh Copper IS Willie Snead. I suspect you will see a lot of him in 2018.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotejemach They have made two major errors in just the past year. We won't even throw in Austin. 1) Gave up 2nd rounder and player for a one year rental. If we get a 3rd round compensatory, it does squat to minimize this failure. 2) Unnecessarily signed Ogletree to an extension spending $6 million they didn't need to getting back a 4th and 6th. That's a fair point, but $30M guaranteed and $16M a year are "we have to be sure" numbers. If they were blown away by his potential in this offense, don't you think they would have offered more?by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
While I feel pretty sure that #23 won't be a WR, there are a bunch of good, fast prospects who are likely to be 2nd and 3rd round guys. You know how Snead likes to move around in a draft so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rams move around if they like a particular guy--DJ Moore, DJ Chark, Christian Kirk, or rolling the dice on someone like Antonio Calloway just to name a few. QuoteLos Angeles Lenny We gave up a starting CB and a second round draft choice. So what? The starting corner is now back on the market and the 2nd will be offset by a third or 4th next year. They solidified the WR corps this year and won 11 games, mission accomplished. These guys always have the long-term plan in mind and not paying Sammy $16M per year is part of that plan. I think the Chiefs is a really interesting fit for Watkins. They went out and drafted a QB who can supposedly throw it downfield. They added Watkins to go with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Not the $1,000,000 question is "will Andy Reid actually shift his offense to include more plays downfield"? Oh, and $48M over three years based on reputation and potential rather than actual prby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't expect him to have an immediate impact, but you could see what he brought to the table pretty early with his speed. I think they go after Murphy. He had a really productive 2016 and much was expected in 2017 before the injury. McVay was with him in 2016 as was Joe Barry. If I'm betting, my money is here.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com

When I watched the tape, I saw a guy with uneven concentration who would give up on plays he didn't think were coming to him. I'd love to see him actually fulfill some of his potential with the Rams, but it has to be a deal that doesn't pay him like DeAndre Hopkins on the hope that he ends up playing that way.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
