QuoteLMU93 I would bet you are right- probably will negate when Suh is signed. I would think it might wash the Barron signing out which is fine.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn QuoteLMU93 Agree. At least one OL is going to be drafted and my guess is it will be with one of the two 3rds. I just think all signs point to defense at 31 (or after a trade back). Also believe a veteran swing backup OL is coming. They do have some depth. Demby for one, and they obviously like him. And then look historically at how lines are built. Quotechunkmeister Rams going up 7-3 could have changed the whole complexion of the game. He has sure hands and rarely gets tagged with a "drop"...but on contested plays where he has the ball in his hands......he can get stripped. 1st one is clearly on Goff, he didn't see him until way too late.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
But Roth was a sad storyby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
I actually set my defense up to stop James White when he is in the game. Gronk and Edelman are going to do what they do, but White is always the X-factor. If we can stop him from getting first downs out of the 3rd down sets and 5 and 6 yards on the 2nd and 10 situations, we go a long way to keeping Brady in uncomfortable down and distance scenarios.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRampage2K- Just about every mock I've found so far has Rams winning the Super Bowl:beercan Are not all these mock orders based on current standings?by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteL.A.Rams Rams had a chance to get to within one game of the 49ers for the Division. They had a good lead and were dominating. But they blew it and lost 30-27. A few key plays were when Joe Montana made a TD saving tackle after an interception and a bad snap that cost the Rams a TD. The real killers were short passes to John Taylor that turned into 92 and 95 yard TDs. I tossed and turned in mby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Pretty much every loss in the 70s playoffs were all painful in different ways, each one had its own bizarre narrative--from Bobby Bryant to the wrong QB choice and Bob Lee and the LA rain. The Patriots loss is one that I still have not gotten over, in large part because I will always feel we were screwed out of that game. But the one play? For me, it's the phantom sack against the 49ers inby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield I was such a No 13 fan that I followed him all the way to Az. And after he came back-once again-in the last min to take the lead (Warner to Fitzgerald) against the Steelers in the SB. And then the pass and "the catch". Man that was tough. If you don't count the minuscule 35-second possession after the Steelers scored, Warner put up a TD in his team's last possession tby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesstrams after he didn't go for the win in regulation] This. While the clock is running down, I knew Martz didn't trust Bulger to not throw a pick--and suspected that was going to come back to haunt us. I still can't stand Steve Smith.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAlbaNY_Ram For reference here a Kuechly's stats: Littleton: 95 tackles.. 4 sacks... 1int... 10 passes defended.. a safety. (2 kicks blocked, too) Kuechly: 71 tackles.. 2 sacks... 1int... 4 passes defended.. no safety. (0 kicks blocked) Oh boy. I like Littleton, but he's not even on the same planet as Kuechly.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Faulk, hands down. I think Gurley is a really smart player, but Faulk was one of the highest IQ football players I've ever seen. He was explosive as a running back, knew when to duck his head and get the extra yard and was arguably the best route running RB out of the backfield in NFL history. His versatility is what sets him about for me, but there really isn't a bad choice here.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesstrams will give us all we can handle this week, Chefs, and Beagles as well. plus I wouldn't count out Da Bears, who seem to be doing a lot better than I thought they would.. and the stupid Lions are one of those teams you never think of, in any regard, until they screw you over by beating you by accident.. QuoteDeadpool Look at the roster objectively (tough as a fan) and ask yourself if I'm wrong on any of these guys: Brockers - nice player, doesn't do any one thing outstanding . You are wrong on a few, but this one in particular. We do you think Atlanta could suddenly run on us in the 2nd half of last year's playoff game? Pretty much coincided with Brockers getting hurt n'est pas? So he perby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotepromomasterj Is he playing spot duty? Seems like you don't see him out there much. Is he injured? Tentative because of the concussions? Is he not capable of taking Peters starting outside role and use Peters as a nickel or slot coverage guy? Also, what about moving Joyner back to the slot corner role and bringing (can't remember his name) in as starting safety. Could move JJ to freeby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Keep in mind that 1) we have already played out 9th game (and won it); 2) the Saints still have to play the Bengals on the road followed by the Falcons and the Eagles. They then close with the Panthers twice and the Steelers. Our tough games are the Chiefs and the Eagles. I don't see us worse than 13-3, and I don't see them making 13-3.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRam49 Very interesting review of Marcus Peters just now on Speak for Yourself with Whitlock & Whiley. Hopefully, someone can post a Youtube video when it becomes available. I hope he can bring something to the table on pass rush downs. Having both he and Fowler has the chance to make an impact on passing downs.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
It sure looked to me that he had the players in the right spot on more than one critical occasion and they just didn't make plays. The first Kamara TD was awful, we had four defenders in the right spot and none could make a tackle. Special shout out to Lamarcus Joyner who was truly terrible on that play. It should have been 3rd and 6 or so rather than a TD. Next series, Joyner strikes again.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield Goff is really good but IMO Brees is even better. The Saints O line is also better and for sure their D secondary is better-maybe a lot better. They are also extremely well coached. When taken all together I think its inescapable that they are better than the Rams. Nevertheless, the Rams in the short McVay years are so much better at this stage than I ever thought they would thatby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRockRam Vegas doesn't think it'll be close. It's a 9 point spread as of now. Should Kupp be able to play, I imagine it would go to 10 or 10 1/2. I just don't see how GB wins this unless Goff goes down, or half of our secondary goes down, or AD and Suh both go down, or something catastrophic like that. Green Bay is simply not what it once was. I don't see GB being able to hold out Suh aby badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure how many of you guys read "Walter Football", but I just thought I'd post his observations on our 2017 offseason for entertainment purposes. His lowest of the low grades in the "Millen". QuoteRamsDynasty What do they have that we might want? Top of my head Amari Copper, WR, and Arden Key Edge rusher or maybe their Center but he is pricey. Given Gruden's ego, it's only guys he was not around for drafting that would be dumped. So no Arden Key.by badgerdms - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSteve Ya, but in 2016 when the Rams were 3-1 I said we might win 1-3 games the rest of the season....and lol, hail storm of comments on the board...and, we went 1-11. We all expect super bowl (not 'or bust), and so the comments are all based on getting to the superbowl So, we can't get tot he super bowl with te defense playing like this.
