Obviously, football is what I am interested in. But with that great screen you will be able to really pack in people and still have everyone able to see the performers. Plus it will be cool to see the Olympics in that venue as well. Hope I get a chance to visit someday.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
He may not even be in my top 10. To me Jerry Rice still holds that title.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Surely someone is going to hire him eventually, right? He has more starting experience than that whole list aside from Bortles.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
He could just as easily gone off on why Kyle Shanahan is even less good than Pederson, since his regular season record as a HC is far worse and the 9ers also lost in the SB. Also, just asking, but when Pederson took over the Eagles, were they the worst team in football? And did he take their offense from 32nd to 1st in a single year?by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
South Dakota State Jackrabbit linebacker Christian Rozeboom is one of my favorite players in the 2020 NFL Draft. He reminds me of a young Clay Matthews. Hoping that he can be our next London Fletcher - a small school UDFA that plays great.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Most writers these days don't bother to do good analysis, and adding in simple short video examples is great. Of course you could argue that he cherry picked plays that made his point, but it is still fun to see the actual football.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I love having a not only competent, but really good coach. Last year was a down year and we won 9. That is the kind of production I like to see, where 9 wins is considered a down year. Fisher would have been drinking champagne after a 9 win season. There is no question that McVay is young. There is no question that he has a great football mind. What I think will make the difference is thaby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Happy that he got to enjoy one last Rams Super Bowl before he passed, even if the outcome was not what we hoped for. He will be missed.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think both are probably more underrated than they deserve. This article is the first time I have ever seen Bass' name. And SJax practically laps the field with his totals - nearly 3000 yards higher than the next closest. And numbers 11-20 barely registered 300 lifetime as Rams. I really wish Jackson could have experienced some playoff wins. He deserved it. Any chance he makes HOF playinby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
then the colors we see will be the colors of the fans in them. Hopefully mostly maize and sunflower or whatever the heck they call our colors these days.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
That worries me a bit.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I probably should, shouldn't I? He is in some pretty good company on that list. I feel like we have fewer truly incompetent head coaches, and fewer truly incompetent starting QB's, in the league right now than I can ever remember.,by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I could see them just literally quarantining whole teams and staffs for the entire season. Keep them in a single facility, test them regularly, keep the rest of the world out and play in empty stadiums if need be. It would be hard on the players and staff, but if it were me I would rather miss my family for a few months then give up a whole year of a very short career and potentially millions oby RantoulRam - Bucky's Pub
Has anyone ever tried huge guy at punt returner? If he can field the ball I think it would be a fun experiment.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
What a mess. Article would have been better if it had made any effort to analyze what the Rams did to stop Kamara last year. The only bit of actual info in the article is that we will face several RBs who catch a lot of passes. Lazy effort and a waste of my time.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Had a nice conversation with him at training camp, told him how true fans knew how important he was to the offense and appreciated his nose for first downs. This is in the heart of the GSOT days and he seemed truly appreciative that his contributions were noticed. (I know he didn't have a HOF career but I do think he is not as appreciated as he deserves for his GSOT contributions. He is rarelby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember it looked on TV like he *might* have stretched out enough to break the plane...I waited long seconds before they confirmed that he was down and the game was over. Then I feel like I sat in stunned silence. My SB party had broken up and kids were in bed (SB starts way too damned late if you ask me). Then I remember sitting quietly and just basking in all the after-game speeches, inteby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Ricky Proehl. Most overlooked piece of the GSOT. Warner (and then Bulger) looked to Torry, Az and Ike for the big plays, but when it was 3rd and 6 and he needed a first down he looked to Ricky. In his entire Rams career, I think I only saw Ricky catch one 3rd down pass short of the sticks. Plus what can you say about the catch he made in the NFC Championship Game when TB's defense had us styby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I actually find myself agreeing with your conspiracy theory. I do think we were good enough to overcome all that in the Super Bowl if we made the right calls, but we didn't. Always laugh about the Patriots linebacker who absolutely mugged Faulk without the ball coming out of the backfield, then went crazy when he was penalized for it. After the game he said "I didn't do anything differenby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Sorry if this is a repost - I didn't remember seeing it on here. Whether you agree with the analyst's conclusions or not, there is some really interesting and detailed breakdown of Rams plays and offensive line play in particular.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
not great enough to have your number retired. Congrats on the Hall of Fame though.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't have statistics on this, but it seems like many if not most of the really good ones are great for a year or two then fall back to the pack. Revis comes to mind. He was amazing, then after getting a huge contract he fell off quite a bit. Patrick Peterson is an example of the opposite - he has been quite good for years. My concern is that we pay Jalen Ramsey for the JR that he was andby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
A name I have read about in several places as a possible late pick who could surprise. Not great measurables but great PRODUCTION which is more important to me. Any insight?by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Specifically, I would love it if you analyst-type film watchers will explain to me what the HECK happened to him in the last few games of 2019! Here he was, a good player, good blocker, decent pass catcher who made a big play here and there but never seemed like something special. Then out of nowhere he blows up and puts up 100 yd game after 100 yd game and carried some lucky teams through thby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Right now I am not craving football at all. Not after a season of good football and a very entertaining playoffs. On the other hand, immediately after the draft we go into about an 8-10 week football desert until training camps start to get interesting. That's where I would've slotted the XFL. I would be ready for some fun football by then.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I take no pleasure in predicting that, but... I think the 49ers overall are a more complete team I think on his best day Shanahan calls a better game than Reid I don't trust Reid in high pressure situations. I think he has struggled there in the past. I would rather be pessimistic and be pleasantly surprised than to be optimistic and be disappointed. Hope I am wrong. Go Chiefs! The article states that Goff was in the "bottom half" of NFL quarterbacks this year. The analysis from PFF that it was working from, however, said that Goff was in the "middle tier." Both technically accurate, but one sounds a lot worse than the other. And I think "middle tier" is a much more apt description. Just saying, you can spin things the way you wanby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he is a very good coach, although I personally dislike him quite a bit and think he is a tool. But he costs his team when he gets all furious about missed calls or other bad luck. I think if he handles the no-call in the NFCCG like a reasonable person, protests it and when he loses the protest goes on to focus on the rest of the game, the Saints still win last year. Instead he let itby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
