The analysis from PFF that it was working from, however, said that Goff was in the "middle tier."
Both technically accurate, but one sounds a lot worse than the other. And I think "middle tier" is a much more apt description.
Just saying, you can spin things the way you want to.
I like to remember that in the first half of 2018 he was not only in the "top half" but "top tier" so we know that he has that in him, with sufficient protection and good playcalling from da coach. Remember in October on 2018 he was considered an MVP candidate. Here's hoping that that is the real Goff and we see that again soon.
