I got in on the podcast addict website as well. Rams Bills stuff starts about 20 minutes in.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I am old and not super tech-savvy, so bear with me. The Monday wrap-up show of the Athletic Football Show podcast is a must-listen for Rams fans. Now I happen to be an Athletic subscriber, but I get the podcast on Spotify and it has never asked for my login so I *think* this podcast is available to the general public. Anyway, Rams/Bills was their big topic, and I have listened to it threeby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Scoring at will but cannot stop anyone. We ended up 10-6 and lost in the first round of the playoffs.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
But it looked like defensive PI to me. Maybe a ticky tack call at that point in the game, but I have no idea why they awarded is the interception earlier on what looked like a good catch by the WR. We benefited from that one. As someone said in another post, I am curious what changed offensively and defensively in the 2nd half. The verdict may be incomplete on Staley so far, but his halftimby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This is from a column called Ted's Film Room. Rams were mentioned just offhandedly: "After a shaky start against the Rams — with one of the top defenses in the NFL — Prescott ripped the Falcons secondary to shreds without his starting left and right tackles. " Bold added for emphasis. Is that how analysts see us - as one of the top defenses in the NFL? I know most of you can'by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it is more about scheme. I watched that great Philadelphia article about the game that had all the videos embedded and you could see the Ebukam was often, on obvious pass plays, standing back and scouting to make sure that Wentz didn't break the pocket and run. He wasn't trying to get upfield and pressure at all. It makes me wonder if this is part of the Brandon Staley strategy, at lby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
3-3 somehow. Not sure how we get there though. In fact, I am predicting that all 4 teams go 3-3 in division.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
For example, when they start showing the Eagles on offense, watch Ebukam. On pass plays, he was not rushing the QB. At all. It wasn't that he was rushing and not getting there, it looked like Staley really wanted to make sure that Wenz didn't run, and had Ebukam there shadowing him and making sure he didn't. Interesting.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
They pulled from the All-22 to give us some great looks at blocking, tight ends etc. Look at the seal block Higbee got on McLeod on Hendo's 40 yard run.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Huh? If Cousins is playing so well, why are the vikings 0-2? Although Mahomes did have a down day yesterday, in crunch time he put the team on his back and willed them to a win, along with his kicker who made a 53, 58 and 58 yard fg all on the same play.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
except to another NFC West team. I know it is early, but in 8 games, only was NFCW-NFCW. The NFCW is 7-0 versus the league. Again this is super early, but is it mathematically possible, now that there are 3 wild card teams, for all 3 wild cards to be from the same division? Wouldn't that be wild?by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
but ever rooting for New England goes against every fiber of my being. I hate Belicheat that much. Might be best if I just don't watch the game at all.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This is the kind of analysis I hope for but rarely get from football journalists.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I find it hard to ever root for NE, and usually I don't, but I think we need Seattle to take every loss it can this week. What should I do? Root for a 0-0 tie?by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com

This is a serious question because Donald just missed Dak when he threw Elliott. Would that be legal? Or would that be a personal foul of some sort? I mean, Zeke is like 215, can you see what Donald might be capable of if they tried to block him with a 185 lb Daryl Henderson type? "Personal foul, 15 yards, unnecessary roughness for throwing RB at Quarterback. Automatic first down.&qby RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com

If you can watch this only one time, you are a better person than me. I watched 2-3 times and rewinded some parts. Focused on AD but you can see some great shots of other linemen as well.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
One tidbit I picked up on my podcasts was that in 2019 the Rams did not even once run from shotgun formation - it was a 100% tell that we were passing. Any idea if that changed in Week 1?by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm pretty much always too cheap or too poor to pay for full access to Rams games, and here in the midwest they pretty much just show the NFC North, KC and Indy. If anyone has a good site with links to workable live streams, I'd really appreciate a pm with the info. Thanks in advance! At least tomorrow its a nationally televised game.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Remember how much scheme mattered when McVay came to the Rams and our offense went from #32 to #1 overnight? If McVay chose well and Staley has the D ready to make the same kind of jump, then we are going to have fun watching this year. Of course, following a Wade Phillips D is harder than following a Jeff Fisher O, but still... (Sidebar - I wonder if Jeff Fisher's blood type is O-negative?)by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for editing it. For some reason, this particular thing pushes my buttons. And not an hour after I posted this someone did the same thing in a comment on The Athletic. Probably the universe's way of saying "chill, bro."by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
The position wasn't listed very high because no one really knows who will be toting the pigskin this year. But this offense hums when it is built off of a good running game. As the running game goes, so goes the offense. RB should have been top 5.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I know, this makes me the old man yelling at the neighbor kids, but lots of people including sportswriters seem to make this mistake and it drives me nuts. Dominate is a verb. "Jalen Ramsey dominates his opponents" Dominant is an adjective. "Jalen Ramsey is a dominant CB." He can also be a "dominating CB" which would also be correct. What am I missing on the Seatlle Seahawks? Last year, they would have finished 10-6 and in a tie with the Rams had Greg the Rotten Egg hit an average length field goal. Is it Jamal Adams shooting them to the top of the NFC West or have they made other big improvements I am missing? One of the few things that this article got right is how tough the NFC West is going to be this year.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll ask her. She responds to a lot of comments on her Athletic articles.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think I paid $30 for a years subscription on some kind of special.. First time I have subscribed to an online publication but they put out quality, detailed analysis.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Not much to say about that. The Saints have just really pissed me off since the NFC Championship game. Payton is such a tool.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Might be the best thing I have read this offseason. We need to get Youngblood on this board somehow. Maybe a Q&A. He is hilarious. Straight up candid.by RantoulRam - RamsFootballFans.com
