See, I knew you would have some nice and interesting guitars! I think you've posted a couple of those before... the gradient blue one... maybe the black and white, and maybe the flame. I like the B&W and the flame ones. LOVE the Red Baron! My favorite guitar store had a stratocaster copy with a jolly roger on it. Not really my style, but it was cool looking and I enjoyed looking at iby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I sent pics around the first of the year of a custom guitar I had made from a Koa coffee table my parents had when I was a kid. I have hit the jackpot on Koa guitars this year... :lolby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I have wanted a Taylor Koa guitar since... well since I first saw a Taylor Koa guitar. So my favorite guitar store owner calls one day and says he just took a used K14ce in on trade. About 10 years old, but very clean. Says he thought about keeping it but just couldn't justify another guitar. I said I'm kind of in the same boat, but asked what he was going to want and it sounded like a good dby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Saturday Night Fever was all about the dancing and soundtrack. The plot was actually kind of weak. I saw it in a theater when it first came out, and I watched it again just a few weeks ago, so it's not a movie I hated but if you strip it down to just plot, it was pretty meh. The acting was good, the dancing was good, and the music was good for disco. Grease was a MUCH better movie. Has somby Aries - Bucky's Pub

Okay, we'll give you Lawton if you settle down by the time you get through Lawton. No problem sacrificing Lawton, we'd still be cool. :lolby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Quotesstrams We lost our favorite Mexican food place AND the only German place in town.. We were really close with the owners/staff at both places, so it stung for multiple reasons.. So, I feel your pain.. Hopefully they re-open.. If my favorite Italian place closes here, I'm going on a three state killing spree.. No plans to go north, right? Maybe you need a couple of hours to try to calm dowby Aries - Bucky's Pub
"If you think she's cute now, you should have seen her a couple of years ago." Signed, Michael Scott :lol I saw an interview with Jenna where she talked about a new generation of The Office fans who were born after the show originally aired but watched it on streaming services. She said she would be someplace like Target and 11 and 12 year old kids would come up to her and say, &by Aries - Bucky's Pub

I waited this late to post so you can't use that it's-later-where-you-live-so-you-post-before-I-wake-up excuse. (okay, truth is I almost forgot) :lol Hope you're having a wonderful birthday, my friend!by Aries - Bucky's Pub
We remodeled our house about four years ago. The general contractor and two of his helpers removed all the popcorn. They did exactly as sstrams describes above. The GC used a bug sprayer with plain water, and the other two guys scraped and it looked fast and easy. They weren't worried about the mess, because the house was pretty mush a shell when they did it, floors, paint, etc. was all donby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I thought "The Watcher" had been discussed in a thread here, but I couldn't find it. Maybe it was another message board? Anyway... it's a pretty good series, if you like creepy shows. I meant to mention that I've watched 5 of 7 episodes, so I haven't finished it... my point was it is what Hollywood always does, take a fairly interesting but rational story and embellish the crap out ofby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I can't find it, but I thought there was a thread where this series was mentioned? I thought I sensed some trepidation in a post about potentially supernatural events (maybe I mis-read), and the story sounded familiar so I looked up some articles. The series is "based on a true story". As you might suspect, "based on a true story" allows for a lot of leeway. Basically,by Aries - Bucky's Pub
That is probably not HIS Flying V.... The producers probably used it because it's the last guitar you would expect to see House playing... But I'll give 5-1 odds Gibson sent him one as soon as it aired. :lol3by Aries - Bucky's Pub

Well, maybe your Jackson could be a "road worn" look? :lol1 I was talking to my guitar guy one day, and something came up about the new road worn finishes. He said he didn't care for them. "If you want road worn.... EARN IT!" :lol1 He's pretty funny sometimes.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
I was never a big fan of the flying V. They just look awkward to me. But they are kind of "Gibson iconic"... When you have 18 guitars, that doesn't have to be your main one. It can be one that you play now and then, and appreciate it for what it is. I have a couple that don't offer a lot except for being pretty and cheap. They hang on the wall mostly, but I WILL grab one if I jusby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Just practicing or messing around at home, I have a Spark amp. Or a little headphone amp I use sometimes. Sometimes I just play it without an amp. I plugged it into a Marshall DSL40 a couple of times and it sounds good. But I haven't played around with that one very much.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
You probably mentioned the cause, at worst maybe a bad pickup but not likely. Probably just a bad connection. Yeah, I'm sure you can figure it out. But then you'll have to buy your own lunch. :lol1 I'm just outside of Tulsa, in a town called Sapulpa. I have never set myself on fire. That's still on my bucket list. :lol1by Aries - Bucky's Pub
I know a guy who can fix that. He's really good, and I'm usually surprised when he doesn't charge as much as I expected. Unfortunately, he's 250 miles away from you, but if you bring it up here I'll buy you a lunch! Would love to meet you in person sometime and hear about your performance experiences, especially. I have "some" performance experience, but not nearly as much, and not thby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I bought another guitar I don't need about a week ago. It's used, but like new, I think someone bought it and stuck it in a closet for a year, then traded it in. It's just like this one... I always wanted a Paul Reed Smith, never was particularly interested in the SE series. I tend to be a guitar snob, which is ironic because I really don't play very well.. but ultimately I decided thisby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I honestly don't know how many generations she goes back... the only really interesting family member is that my 5x (or somewhere around there) great-grandfather, Nathan Huff, was known as "the meanest man in Tennessee". :lol According to my DNA test, I'm 64% British. We know my grandfather's family on my mother's side migrated here from Great Britain. Most of the rest is a combinatby Aries - Bucky's Pub

AWESOME! LOVE Billy Joel.... I don't think he is capable of not being entertaining. Whether he is performing his music, or just talking about how it came about.by Aries - Bucky's Pub
So, the story I heard back when KWS first started becoming "known" is that he was close family friend to the Vaughn family, and as a kid often sat on SRV's amplifier while he was on stage playing. That would kind of explain his very similar style. I dunno, just what I heard back in the day...by Aries - Bucky's Pub
Here is a quick video of the guys scraping our ceiling when we remodeled about four years ago. sstrams described it exactly right, and pointed you to a scraper. He is also correct that it makes a huge mess, so if you're not replacing the flooring you'll want some decent plastic over it. Otherwise, it's pretty easy.
