This could just be me.... but it 'seemed' almost like disappointment from the announcers when Cindric took the checkered flag.... and I think the reason why was the 'story' that crumbled on so many very notable drivers in the field who had and still haven't won the Daytona 500. They wanted to tell that story and I'm not saying they didn't appreciate Cindric but at same time there seemed a few moments when they sighed, "Damn".
BTW... I'm not fond of the 'stages'... I get the reasoning but nope, just doesn't work for me. - JamesJM
